When will ? learn, Buzz doesn't mean ? ! It's like your mom calling you handsome, a fanbase and building one > buzz. Buzz entails trendy, and trendy means fickle.

Big Sean has a fanbase and building one too. Like I said in some other thread this leak might have been a blessing in disguise for Big Sean. Gained a lot of fans because of it.

Dude, Roc Nation does all that ? ? , it has a 50/50 deal with Live Nation the biggest touring company in the world so all that booking ? is in house. Roc Nation is also his co management along with Biggie's old manager. How the ? do you know he doesn't own his masters and publishing, stop talking out your ass. Yet even if all that ? is true, he is still in a better position to eat than Big Sean because he does more things and on a label who have more footing inside the business.

I know because when his music got placed he wasn't around to make that decision . He didn't know his song was placed in a video game usually when you have to get a song placed they ask the person that controls the masters to sign off on that so if he didn't know he wasn't involved in the decision. As far as publishing go what leverage did j.cole have

when he signed his deal their wasn't a bidding war over his services or anything so he got a ? deal more than likely . He didn't have drake buzz or nothing . Sean is in a better position right now because we are going to see how big his fan base is we don't know how big cole fanbase is and we not gon really know til he comes out with an album . Fan=paying customer getting mixtape downloads and twitter follows is cool be its not a real indication of anything.

Krit and J.Cole need o Collab that would've been a way better first single.

Krit don't need Cole. Krit's video was just World Premiered on 106 & Park the other day, while the 500,000 followers that J Cole was so eager to have are on Twitter clowning his single

Serioulsy Big Sean is wack, when he drops a mixtape on par with The Warm Up then we can compare the two, for now he ain't anywhere near J Coles level.

    -Turn My Swag On
    -Crank Dat
    -O Lets Do It
    -Lemonade
    -Lollipop

Hit singles should not be part of the criteria of judging rappers.

Like for real where is J.Cole album? Oh yeah his singles keep flopping. Roc Nation wants a return in their investment. It's either hit songs or fade away in obscurity.

    What are these three singles?

Lights Please generated a big enough buzz for him, it got him signed with Hov
    Who Dat wasn't a flop, given it's content, it's a success imo...

Big Sean Dope album consisting of good music>J.Cole with no album

Big Sean is obviously the least talented artist on his own album.

John Legend outshines him on "Memories"

The Dream outshines him on "Live this Life"

Wiz Khalifa, thats right, Wiz ? Khalifa outshines him on "High"

Lupe doesn't count, cuz Lupe is one of the best rappers in the game, a lot of people get outshined by him

    - Kanye spits a ? verse and EASILY outshines him

The only song were Sean isn't BLATANTLY embarassed is "100 keys", and he's featuring Rick Ross who isn't known as a premier spitta in the first place. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Sean is the LEAST important part of his album. The fact is its a greatly produced product with mediocre to below average lyricism.
