    I can't say Jay Z's Lyrics mean anything to me or amaze me but i Kanyes Lyrics are relatable and much deeper than Jay Z's

    Not really a fan of either but have given an unbiased listen to both catalogs. Both artist have great tracks and weak tracks. Kanye is a good, not great, but good producer. Jay-z ego is too big for him to have to start an aspect of rap from scratch, so he'll never produce. Jay-z is a much better rapper with a much better catalog. Kanye has no album as great as RD, BP or BA. However, Kanye doesn't have an album as wack as KC or BP2. As long as neither rapper hits eminem, my music is completely terrible these days, status they should be good to go.

    I put Kanye ahead in the category of ARTIST.

    College Dropout = Classic
    Late Registration = Classic
    Graduation = Cool album
    808's & Heartbreak = Creative, out-the-box album that turned out good and worked.
    My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy = Near classic

    The last decent Album Jay Z put out was The Black Album



    As far as being a CEO is concerned Dame Dash signed and put Kanye West on, Dame Dash signed and put Beanie Sigel on, Dame signed Camron to Rocafella too


    As a CEO Jay Z hasn't signed, discovered or put on a Rapper that went on to be succesful and sell Platinum


    Look at the Rappers Jay Z signed J Cole, Uncle Murda, True Life, Memphis Bleek non have been succesful either haven't put an Album out or sold pretty low

    you should take your own advice and check album booklets to know who's given credit for writing the song. oh I forgot,you were in the studio with jay-z when he made those records.

    I'm not gonna get into jays song writing/substance/meaningful records with you. I listed his songs before and all you did was list eminem songs to dispute when he had absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand

    I always thought Beanie Sigel was nicer than Jay Z too


    My biggest issue with Jay Z is he doesn't have an Album i can play and enjoy regularly his Album's sound too boring

    Jay-Z, because he is from the poetic rappers.

    Kanye is not a poetic rapper or even an artist, he is a record producer who is amazing at sampling and thats it.

    Jay can rap and is one of the best, Kanye is the best at nothing.
