Caliparis check book...
Lance Stephenson from Cinncinati did that dumb ? and left to, but they sayin he is a late 1st rounder-early 2nd rounder....hopefully he falls to the Knicks! lol -
LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Kentucky freshmen Eric Bledsoe, DeMarcus Cousins, Daniel Orton and John Wall and junior Patrick Patterson will enter their names in this year's NBA draft, the school announced in a release on Wednesday.
All five players are projected as first-round picks.
It marks the second straight season a UK player has declared early for the draft. All-American Jodie Meeks decided to forego his senior season last year to turn pro. -
if he falls to the knicks that will be the dumbest move the knicks can make
-
as a fan, im not even mad. get money my nigs. smh @ people here gathering outside where the players stay to demand they stay one more year
im intrigued for a "fab 5" type run next year
go cats -
and this is why the NBA should implement a 2yr requirement as opposed to the current 1...i mean if ur going to do it Mr.Stern do it right...but DAMN...UK lost
-
im not worried. if cal cant do anything else, he can recruit.
we'll probably get josh selby, brandon knight now with both wall and bledsoe gone. got 2 more top 20 guys making visits i believe. we'll be fine -

he can recruit but his coaching is still questionable -

Lance Stephenson?...why would that be a dumb move, if they get him with a early 2nd round pick that'd be great value.....if he goes back to College and shows improvement he'd be a lottery pick next year -
if he goes in the 2nd round to them thats perfect but imma say it now, lance stephenson wont be much but another player in the league

lol thats a different story. you'll get no arguments here tho -
Orton and Bledsoe should stay another year. Wall, Cousins, and Patterson have no business being in the NCAA anymore.

Nah Kentucky has a slew of McDonalds All-Americans who were waiting for the Kentucky players to make their decision so they can commit to Kentucky. Out with the old in with the new. Calipari is gonna turn Kentucky into a One and Done factory and then 3 years later Kentucky will be on probation for recruiting violations that some how can't be tied to Calipari even though these violations seem to follow him every where he goes. -
orton and bledsoe still have more to work on..They're good, but another year wouldn't hurt...
I hate Cal, but he's going to bounce back though with his recruiting skills -

or stop forcing people to go to college for a year. The whole purpose of college is to learn a skill that will foster a career in the future, how the ? you gonna tell someone they can't do what they want to do for a living. All them ? need to go get their money, the only people who ? about players leaving early are selfish college basketball fans (? Vitale) who only want to see the best players in college. -

it should be both ways IMO, they should be able to leave straight from Highschool if they want.....but if they decide to go to College they should have to go for at least 2 years -

yea i disagree with the rule all together, but if you impose it u gotta do at least 2 years. dudes who know they going first round have no incentive to go to class in the spring semester. a lot of them dont even register for classes -
cot damn, the whole damn squad leaving lol

This is where your argument falls off a cliff. No one is forcing them to go to college. Has Jennings has shown, there are other routes. The NBA is a freaking Business, and like real Businesses, some require u to have a 4 year degree, a Masters or a PHd. The NBA have a simple one, be out of High School at least a year. Nowhere does it say go to college. U can go make money in Europe. NBDL, even Mexico. The NBA is protecting its own interest, they dont give a ? if u go to college or not. -

Come on dude, no one is forcing them. lol Then why did the NBA create the 19 year old or one year of college ball rule, lets not play dumb here. They didn't create that ? for mfs to go over seas, or guys to sit out till they turn 19. Wtf do you learn in the one year of college that's gonna make you that much better in the NBA, not a ? damn thing. Plus the NBA knows most kids don't want to go overseas for that one year. The only reason why Stern created that rule is to help out the NCAA game, help owners eveluate talent, etc. -
. The only reason why Stern created that rule is to help out the NCAA game NO, help owners eveluate talent YES,etc.
There u hit it right on the head, "To evaluate talent". The NBA does not give 2 ? about the NCAA. All they care about is the the talent on the court. After listening to a lot of Stern interviews, what he really wants is what the "MLB" has. He would rather these guys go to the NBDL. He does not care about the NCAA. Instead of them making the money, he would rather the NBDL teams which NBA owns make that money. -
for calipari -
What y'all mean by the checkbook thing for Coach Cal?
