true, but imo i think they should stick with rondo -
Looks like the Blazers will be dumping Roys contract its a cold move but the still owe him $60 mill....doesn't make sense for him to go to Golden State they have too much guys who jack up shots Dorrell Wright is trigger happy and Monte "isolation game" Ellis isn't willing to share the rock.
Since he wants to stay out in the West send him to the Suns at least where he can ball with a legit PG in Nash. -
Now they saying the Clippers has the best chance to get CP3, Shane Battier to the Heat, NeNe to the Nets, and Grant Hill to NY...? 's getting REAL!
Lord knows I'm ready for the 1st NBA 2k12 roster update....BTW that DLC on 2k12 sucks bc you can't use those new players on the regular game...They did a great job on making the new players realistic as ? physically and attributes-wise...The H-O-R-S-E game is hot tho... -

Is g.hill really going to NY I think they should get Steve Nash, he's on his way out and him and no D'antoni and amare got chemistry together and he can score aswell -

Any hints on where he might go??? -
EmM HoLLa. wrote: »From what I've read.. Chandler wants close to a Max salary.. And Dallas aint even holla at him before the lockout for real so he feels a little slighted.. So it seems that he is gonna go where the money is.. I dont know who.. BUT it looks like he is going to go to a team that will offer him a 50-60 million dollar contract...
guess thats what happens when you win a ship, hope he doesnt have a big ego now bc thats what it sounds like. the mavs do need him though if they are looking to repeat. their defense would be non-existent if they dont resign. -

More free-agent chatter
Tracy McGrady wants to play for the Bulls, sources said, and coach Tom Thibodeau has a relationship with him going back to their Houston Rockets days together. T-Mac is still a consideration to return to the Pistons, too. …Marc Gasol has significant interest around the league, but the most likely scenario is still him re-signing with the Memphis Grizzlies, sources close to him said. …The Thunder didn’t discuss a contract buyout with Nate Robinson on Wednesday, but he desperately wants to get out of the final year of his deal, a league source said. He’s just not going to play much for the Thunder. Orlando could be a landing spot for Robinson, should he become a free agent. …If Tayshaun Prince leaves Detroit without a starting small forward, the Pistons will have to work through a thin class to find a starter. For depth at the position, the Pistons will take a close look at free agent Mike Dunleavy, who is leaving the Indiana Pacers. …The Bulls still have an eye on bringing back Brian Scalabrine, who’s been playing well for Benetton in Italy. He has an out clause in his contract. …Miami, Chicago and New Jersey are strongly considering offers for Knicks free-agent forward Shawne Williams, who is coming off a strong season. The Knicks will make a strong bid to keep him, and he’s inclined to stay with them for a multiyear offer. -
As NBA teams start to make a push for Denver Nuggets free-agent center Nene, front office officials are angling to be the first to meet with him at midnight Dec. 9 in his native Brazil.
“That will go down to the wire,” a source close to Nene said.
The Nuggets, New Jersey Nets, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers were among the teams that reached out to Nene’s representatives Wednesday, the first day teams were allowed to contact agents to discuss potential deals.
Once the offers arrive, it could take more than $13 million annually to sign Nene. While the market is still developing for him and the rest of a thin free-agent class, he’s clearly the focus for every team with cap space and the need for an inside presence. The Nuggets are pressed to keep him, and would likely have to pay significantly more than would’ve been necessary if they had worked a deal with him prior to his opting out this summer.
The Nets could be the major threat for Nene because of their combination of salary-cap space and desire to surround Williams with as much talent as possible to convince him to sign an extension. Privately, Williams has made it clear that he’s far less inclined to re-sign a long-term deal with the Nets if they don’t immediately improve their roster. New Jersey can also gather assets and still stay in position to make trade offers to the Orlando Magic for Dwight Howard -
jus throwin this out here: last season was...literally 1 of the best overall seasons in at least a decade...maybe longer. clearly the league stoppage was the ironic icing on the cake. now they're prime to start up again on christmas day. The anticipation leading up to the start of last season was damn near unparalleled. so many story lines and it ended w/ an unlikely champion. with all that has happen since june and with the anticipation leading up to this season now...i just want to say as a nba fan...im glad its back. i woulda prolly had withdrawal like a muhfuka if this ? got canceled fo real.

NBA releases five-game Christmas Day slate to open season
The NBA has announced the extra two games to open the 2011-12 season on Christmas Day, and the two will wrap up what will be a five-game holiday slate.
Two-time NBA scoring champion Kevin Durant will lead the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Orlando Magic, who will be dealing with a storyline all season about whether three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard will sign a contract extension in this, his last season before free agency. That is an 8 p.m. ET start on ESPN.
Following that will be the Los Angeles Clippers and 2010-11 rookie of the year and slam dunk champion Blake Griffin at the Golden State Warriors, who have a rookie head coach in former NBA guard and noted TV analyst Mark Jackson. That is a 10:30 p.m. ET start on ESPN.
The previously scheduled three games will remain on the slate to open the NBA's season of 66 games for each team.
To start the day at noon ET on TNT will be the Boston Celtics, featuring their All-Star foursome of Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo (subject of much trade talk) at the New York Knicks, who feature Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire.
That will be followed by a doubleheader on ABC.
First up at 2:30 p.m. ET will be a rematch of the NBA Finals, with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh leading the Miami Heat at the defending champion Dallas Mavericks, with Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki. The Mavs will get their delayed raising of the banner and championship mementos from owner Mark Cuban.
The second half of the doubleheader at 5 p.m. ET will have NBA MVP Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls at the Los Angeles Lakers, as perennial All-Star Kobe Bryant makes a record-tying 13th Christmas Day appearance. But this time it will be for coach Mike Brown, who takes over the reins from Phil Jackson.
he full regular-season and TV schedules are expected to be released Tuesday.
