I recall you collecting unemployment and other forms of government assistance while living at home. Does that count for talking about what I know?

But besides that, I wanted responses from people actually managing a household, cause there's a difference in doing that and throwing your mom a few hundred to put on the bills.

Not offended nor am I taking it personal in any way as I am long past that point myself. I simply didn't appreciate what I perceived to be misplaced arrogance toward a good part of our posting community.

Perhaps he was attempting to imply that his accounts continually exceed the $250,000 minimum cap that is Federally insured by the bank, and is forced to open new ones. -

I have more accounts than I can count, but I'm not using them all for day to day things. Mostly credit unions but thats for various reasons. -

Most everything is paid automatically
Insurance comes out of my account same time every month
Gym payment comes out of my account biweekly
Phone bill is paid with automated payment
Credit cards are the only thing I pay manually cause I spend differently every month and sometimes I gotta knock off a bigger balance

Everything is done electronically but I only mail in my water bill for some reason.

I pay all of my bills on the first of the month for peace of mind until the next month. I'm only tryin to worry about bills once a month. You start procrastinatin and get behind, you'll start stressin.
