What you want stats and figures, you're telling me that giving some of these people in America the option to drink at the age of say 14, how many more early alcoholics and smokers would we have. Which would lead to even more problems here. Its tolerable for kids to have sex with each other, but a grown ass man say 25+ ? a 13 year old is suspect and many of them are not even fully developed despite puberty. -

and also the "try them as adults" thing was in response to gang violence since a lot of gangs were killing at an early age cuz they knew the little homies would just get out at 21 or 25. Not to mention it's a way to keep blacks and Mexicans in jail for as long as possible. -

I know I was answering as to why it is.
But I agree with the thread starter.
Like I said in a previous thread. A 15 year old woman isnt anymore naive about men than a 45 year old. The mental difference is not really much far as relationships go. Statutory ? laws are nonsensical. -
