If her name wasn't on that pic, I wouldnt know who she was.

Who cares, this aint hip hop

Again this isn't a Nicki hate post, even though I'm not a fan of hers like that, I respect her success especially as a female emcee in tghe game. But now she cannot even fix her mouth to diss Kim, she doesn't even look like herself anymore. She's taken the barbie thing way out of control. And yes she does look like a white ? that cover. Also her lyrics are just getting worst and worst ("Bite Me: Apple Sign") Really Nicki?. The singles from this album thus far have been terrible. "Stupid Hoe" is an embarassment to Hip Hop and one of the worst diss songs ever. That grammy performance was a santanic mess. Overall this is not Hip Hop people.

i never took her seriously to begin with

Same here, was always wack to me.
The first time I heard her was on "5 Star Chick" and she said some garbage like "I just had an epiphany, I need to go to Tiffanys"
lol, so garbage

She looks good and all, but the only dope verse I heard her spit was on Monster (and her cover version of Warning I believe).
-
Damn man can she hurry up and fall off already ?

Its kind of sad artists can't evolve anymore without some people questioning everything but the music.
You don't have to lose your soul to evolve... and I ain't talking lose your soul like illuminati ? ... I mean you don't have to lose what made you great... That's why people get upset- being a certain way is why we as fans fall in love with your music in the first place... It's ok to change it up a little, but you don't have to be so drastic... Kanye is like the Linkin Park of hip hop now...
Em and Jay have never fallen lyrically, but Kanye- while he is much more lyrical now- just doesn't make songs I can ? with that much... Watch the Throne was dope to me, but MBDTF had hardly any Kanye rapping on it and had almost no classic joints on there to me... Is it a musical journey with excellent production? Yes. I'm not going to blindly hate, but 80% of Kanye's new ? is just about actresses and models he's been ? , dropping more fashion heads we've never heard of, and talking about where he can go that we can't...
I miss Roses, ? Music, We Don't Care, Diamonds, Never Let You Down, etc... Not cause it's his "old ? " but because it was raw and pure Kanye being himself... This new kilt wearing ass Kanye just isn't the same... -
millions of white girls in the suburbs gone eat this ? up...

Nicki Minaj: barbie overloaded....
there's nothing wrong with evolving as an artist... there's nothing wrong with it, but
what a lot of hip hop artists are forgetting is their core fan base...
when an artist drop an album that got them recognized and puts them in the game
they have a core fan base that ? with them because of that content...
ok..
when an artist starts to drift away from what ? once loved them for, you've
basically shut off the people that basically said "THIS ? IS HOT, THIS ? NEEDS TO GET SIGNED"
the thing is, is that when an artist wants to make different music or grow, you've got
to fed your core fan base the ones who put you there, when nobody did..
it's almost like, if you want to cater to a different crowd for a minute or a second,
always come back and cater to your core fan base....

I'm just waiting for shorty to start doing porn
I refuse to listen to one entire song by shorty -
I give her 5 to 6 months before this ? fall off
A year if she drops a sex tape -
Wasn't she going to a performing arts school or something? I thought the wild artistic stuff was always a part of her. The street raps is what everybody expects of her but it don't think that that is truly who she is. This doesn't mean that she creates quality. Some of her stuff is descent but not for me. I'm just smh at the indictment that she sold out when that wasn't really her to begin with. She's not a positive Lauren Hill and the gangsta ? really isn't her to begin with other then her exposing her hood rat abilities. She's more of a Missy Elliot (which wasn't a lyrical goddess no matter the revisionist history) but she's not as musically inclined. She's obviously trying to find her artistic vision. She just sucks at it. Oh well.

the ? look like palmela anderson or some ? on that cover

this is what she wanted.

I NEVER took Nicki seriously. Never have, never will.

Heard a few songs from the album, she's basically fully pop now. The sad thing is she actually think's these photos are artistic, SMH. -

The interviews she has been giving in the past couple of months basically makes it sound like she wants to go this direction and she has no regrets at all.
She turns 30 years old(yeah hard to believe) later this December and she probably has changed her goals since she got into the industry and she may personally feel like she should not try to be hip hop because she may not get the sales that she wants.
She just wants to eat most likely and could care less about what people are saying about her.
Not saying I disagree with your point because I don't', its just that I have already given up hope with her. This is not like a Nas' "Hate Me Now" situation .....I actually think Nicki is going to stay moving in the direction she is in now and will get further away from hip hop.
Its a shame really........
Oh well there's still Jean Grae... -
30? i thought she was younger than that *shrug*
-
any predictions on first week sales?
