X-Factor #146
The X.U.E. members decide to intervene in the lives of people who knew their host bodies. Archer - “Jude Black” tries to prove to Rachel that he will not hurt her anymore, and plans to atone for his sins. They are soon attacked by three beings who identify themselves as the People’s Army of Genoshan Mutates, who have come to ? Jude Black for his crimes against their people. Meanwhile, Greystone also returns to the home of his human guise, Brian Young, to confront Brian’s abusive family and try to rescue Brian’s sister. Greystone reveals his true form, and is about to ? Mr. & Mrs. Young, but their daughter talks him out of it, and he is soon summoned away to help Archer. Havok meets with Multiple Man at a sports bar, the two friends reunited after much time apart. Havok asks Multiple Man to join him and his new allies, but Multiple Man turns him down. Polaris soon shows up, apparently Multiple Man rigged this meeting so that Havok and Polaris would also be reunited. The meeting is somewhat tense as Polaris assures Havok she forgives him for walking out on her, and they discuss moving on with their separate lives, when Havok is also summoned away to help Archer. Havok, Fixx, Shard and Greystone arrive, and the enemies quickly depart.
Generation X #42
Generation X is playing miniature golf, when Monet sees a spacecraft like structure, which was not there when they came in, and inside that craft is Bianca LaNeige...Emma Frost’s greatest enemy, who has come to get revenge on Emma. However right then, on the astral plane, Psylocke unwittingly triggers a chain reaction while the Shadow King, and the powers off all psionics in the universe are gone. The team leaves, realizing that Emma’s psi powers don’t work when she tries to make the locals forget what has happened. On their way home, they see Gaia in trouble, just having had a car accident and talking to Chief Authier. Gaia’s telepathic powers are not working either, and Chief Authier reveals that he was a psychic talent too, decides that it’s better to leave Gaia in the team’s hands. Meanwhile, Bianca, also affected by the psi-power loss, and her crew are struck by Albert and Elsie-Dee in their craft.

Uncanny X-Men #359
The day of Rogue’s operation, her conversion from mutant to baseline human, has finally come. In a hidden observation room overlooking the operating room, Dr. Agee explains the situation to Senator Brickman, his wife Mallory (who is actually Mystique in disguise) and special agent Gyrich. Before the operation can start, Mystique steps out and goes into the lab disguised as a nurse and tries to ? Agee. Rouge finds out it is Mystique and leaves with her. They Rogue’s decision, Mystique naturally finds it a betrayal to her kind. Rogue insists she wants to touch and be touched like a normal person and incapacitates Mystique – although the metamorph quickly comes around and follows her. Rogue then tracks down Agee in the Mutopia building and touches him, sifting through his memories to discover whether he’s telling the truth to her about his machine. She discovers Agee’s previous attempts had proved failed, causing the death of a mutant patient and deforming of his mutant sister. Now, however, the machine finally appears to be working. Nevertheless, Rogue ultimately decides to destroy it, fearing it may used against a mutant’s will in the future. Afterwards she finally returns to the X-Mansion.
In Alaska, Jean Grey discovers she has lost her psionic powers. Jean struggles to cope with this and she and Scott decide to prolong their stay in Alaska, until she recuperates.
Cable #55-56
Cable is now living in Hell's Kitchen when he meets up with Irene Merryweather who is upset with Cable for messing with her mind in Switzerland. She tells him that she found Blaquesmith in trouble, so he goes to find him. When he arrives he sees Domino is there already, and the two have a slight argument. On her way home she is attacked by a mysterious villain who had been hired to ? her, and is apparently going by the name Blockade.
Cable senses some trouble for Domino and rushes to help, but by the time he gets there she is unconscious and he takes her to the hospital. From his psi-rapport with Domino he is able to detect who the attack was and he finds him. After beating his ass he goes into Blockade's mind and basically shuts it down leaving him catatonic forever. Police send a copy of the report to SHIELD who figures out that it is Cable, and he is now a wanted man.
X-Men v2 #79
Marrow becomes infuriated when a healded Callisto tells her she is leaving and wants her to stay with the X-Men. Cannonball, whom she has a crush on, must go back home to tend to his sick mother. Marrow, hurt by both events, goes on a rampage in New York and assaults several people. Cannonball, Storm and Callisto try to track her down, but Callisto keeps on cryptically implying that she made Marrow stay with the X-Men because Callisto’s life is in danger. Suddenly, the two officers that Marrow beat up during Operation: Zero Tolerance show up to arrest Marrow for the assaults. Before she kills them, Cannonball asks Marrow if she wants to still be a monster and Marrow agrees that she doesn't. Storm and Callisto arrive, the latter saying her goodbyes to Marrow and then leaves. Storm and Marrow begin to repair their relationship, as they take Marrow back home. A figure watches all this transpire and is glad that Marrow is now with the X-Men. Meanwhile, Beast recommends to Maggott to join Generation X in their Massachusetts Academy. -
Deadpool#18-20
Deadpool, who survived breaking his neck thanks to Death, kidnaps Dr Killebrew who informs him that he knows how to ? Ajax. He brings him to a German woman's home in the Swizz Alps and they take it over. When Ajax shows up, Deadpool traps him under an avalanche, along with the woman's (Ilaney) home. Apparently Deadpool must ? Ajax or be haunted by ghosts of his victims forever. When Killebrew informs Deadpool that he actually doesn't know how to stop Ajax, that's when he arrives again. Killebrew decides to help, and sacrifices himself top help Deadpool and getting killed by Ajax in the process. Wade and Ilaney jump off a cliff in order to escape, but unfortunately Ilaney doesn't survive the fall. Wade, infuriated, sets up traps for Ajax and finally lures him underwater where he is able to snap the mans neck. When he returns to Ilaney he finds that she actually did survive.
Deadpool is happier than he's ever been, but still doesn't understand why Blind Al won't leave after he set her free. He goes to Landau Luckman & Lake and captures Montgomery, who showed him his future and gave him optimism, to repay him. He brings him to a casino where he plans to use his precog abilities, however they wind up fighting a french guy. During the fight Monty is pushed out a window, but he lands in a pool. This makes him extremely happy because he thought he would die, proving there can be surprises in life. Unfortunately, when he gets back to LL&L the overboss Dixon has the memories erases because he doesn't want people liking Deadpool.
X-Force #79-80
With all of X-Force shackled in a desolated building in Las Vegas, Reignfire begins to explain his origin. He was not an evil Sunspot, which many had believed, but a clone of him created from his cellular material. Gideon injected a sample of Sunspot's blood into his container. With a set of genetic material to duplicate, the protoplasmic goo began to pattern itself on the DNA sample given to it and thus shared Sunspot's appearance and powers. Another added bonus was the fact that, when he was within close proximity, he could activate a telepathic link with his host and psychically imprint himself onto Sunspot—explaining why Sunspot would sometimes seem to be evil.
He intended to ? them all, but Warpath showed up and spoiled the plans. Skids battles Locus who is about to teleport Warpath’s head off. Skids’ powers interrupt the portal however, and she and Locus are teleported thousands of miles from Las Vegas to an icy wasteland. On the streets of Las Vegas, Doctor Joshua has arrived, and blasts Reignfire with an energy disruptor. Sunspot encounters Doctor Joshua, and takes the disruptor, which he continues to use on Reignfire - only Reignfire’s physical form is taken apart - but his remains engulf Sunspot, combining the two!
Moonstar uses a psychic arrow on Reignfire and learns that Sunspot is still in there and struggling to wrest control of his body. While X-Force continue to quell Reignfire’s destructive rage, they locate the disruptor, planning to free their friend from Reignfire’s hold. Eventually they trap Reignfire in a chapel, and bombard him with their powers, before using the disruptor on him, which separates Sunspot and Reignfire’s form. Sunspot, generally fine, proceeds to reabsorb all the power Reignfire stole from him, and Reignfire is left a withered husk. SHIELD arrives and takes the remains of Reignfire and Doctor Joshua into custody, leaving X-Force free.
Sunspot arrives at DaCosta International headquarters and explains his situation to the Board, and is cleared of any wrongdoings. Arriving in San Francisco after Sunspot arranged for them to fly from Las Vegas to San Fran, X-Force realize Sunspot’s trust fund is no longer frozen. Sunspot takes them to a warehouse which he is leasing from DaCosta International for the team’s new headquarters. Sunspot announces that he is taking them all to Hawaii for a vacation.
Meanwhile Skids and Locus are stuck in a snow-covered wasteland. Skids tells Locus they should work together to survive, but Locus only wishes her powers weren’t cancelled out by Skids’ power so she could scatter Skids across the globe. They begin to fight, before a mysterious stranger arrives and puts them in a trance.
Cable #57
Cable finds out that Blaquesmith is being held hostage in some tomb in Egypt. When he arrives he is suddenly affected, like all other pii-mutants, by Pyslocke/Shadow King battle, and like everyone else he loses his powers. He is able to free Blaquesmith, but now he has that to worry about.
X-Factor #148
Havok invites Polaris out to talk about their issues, when Peter Gyrich shows up to take him in for terrorism. Polaris saves him and the two are able to work together to defeat them. When one of Gyrich' droids malfunctions, Havok saves his life, but he still decides to arrest him afterwards. Luckily, Val Cooper shows up and overrides the decision, taking Polaris and Havok with her... and the two decide their relationship is officially over. -
X-Man #42-44
Nate & Maddie are flying over the Atlantic Ocean when an earthquake occurs and is approaching a small town. Nate is able to stop it, but his intervention causes an avalanche at the mountain. Nate & Maddie minimize the destruction, and then have fun in town before a fire breaks out that Nate can't control oblivious to some strange, mechanical creatures fanning the fire. During the commotion, the man named Ness or Witness finally finds Nate, just before he flies in the air and creates a thunderstorm, overexerting himself and passing out. When they go to find where he landed, he is gone.
Maddie finds him later at some hotel recovering. He wants to go back to New York to the X-Men to find out they he lost his Psi-Powers, but she won't let him. Meanwhile, murders are occurring in Dublin by some guy who is burning vicitims alive and stealing their energy. Nate tracks him down because he has life patterns of an Age of Apocalypse inhabitant, but when he finds him he sees he looks exactly like him.
Then we find out that it is actually Holocaust, now going by Nemesis, who can shape change now. With Madelyne's help, Nemesis's armor implodes, leaving him to escape in his human form. Apparently he has plans to go hook up with the Dark Beast. -
Exalibur #120-125
This will be the last 6 issues of Excalibur volume 1, which I'm pretty happy about.
Peter Wisdom has left Excalibur because he finds out that Kitty Pryde has a crush on some guy she worked with at SHIELD. Colossus & Meggan have issues because she called him out on having feelings for her. Douglock helped Moira & Wolfsbane get out of quarantine, thought Rahne was hella mad at him afterwards. Nightcrawler is starting to feel out of the loop when he hasn't heard from the X-Men in a while.
Excalibur is approached by Sabra, a mutant from Israel who is a member of Xavier's Underground. They help her with a the threat of Xavier's son Legion. While David was considered deceased, some of his alternate personalities remained trapped between life and death, manifesting as spirits. When the spirits started terrorizing Israel, Excalibur was called to stop them. After learning that the spirits were refusing death, Meggan used her empathy to calm their rage, convincing them to go "towards the light". In return for this help, Sabra gave Nightcrawler a disk that contained information on Xavier's whereabouts.
Later the team goes to Peru to a hidden Operation Zero Tolerance base that is still in operation, because the disk told them that Xavier may be there. The are attacked by Prime Sentinels who are dressed up as the X-Men. They learn that the Prime Sentinels need help, as one of the mutants bought here is responsible for killing all the others. When they break into the chamber he is being held in, they discover not Xavier, but Mimic! They battle him, with him using their powers again them, but finally subdue him and take him to Muir for medical attention.
Meanwhile, as the sunsets on Muir, a teary-eyed Meggan leaves the dock - when suddenly a boat arrives, and Captain Britain arrives home and suggests that he and Meggan get married next week. Meggan is excited, but she feels like she should tell him about her small crush on Colossus.
During the bachelor & bachelorette parties, Colossus tells Brian Braddock that he had feelings for Meggan, even though it was the other way around. Suddenly, Crazy Gang shows up with a new leader who wants revenge on Excalibur. We find out that the mystery leader is Feron, former Excalibur member who was pretty much forgotten about. He felt that Excalibur didn't care about him, because they had never searched for him after his disappearance. He discovered the Crazy Gang who were just burying one of their own: the Executioner. The Executioner was a robot, completely hidden in green robes, who wielded an axe. Feron stole the robes and the axe and posed as the Executioner to the Crazy Gang, turning them against Excalibur again. They invaded Captain Britain's bachelor party, but when Feron was unmasked, he and Excalibur settled their differences, once he realized that Excalibur was quite busy dealing with all other manners of threats. He and the Crazy Gang were then invited to the wedding.
Pretty much every character from the Excalibur series shows up on the wedding issue to tie up loose ends about what they've been doing I guess. Douglock has partial amnesia from drinking too much the night before, so he must get checked out. Moira decides to take a break from working on the Legacy virus. In the end though, Nightcrawler, Kitty & Colossus decide to leave Excalibur and head back home to the X-Men to help find Xavier.
Pretty cool final issue, but I'm interested to see how they fit in with the new X-Men.

Uncanny X-Men #360 & X-Men v2 #80
These two issues were the 35 year X-Men anniversary so they were both double sized.
The impending launch of a rocket from Cape Citadel, Florida – the location where the original X-Men had their first battle against Magneto – stirs public controversy. In actuality, the rocket serves a secret project which aims at tracking and terminating all mutants worldwide. The X-Men’s old ally, Dr. Peter Corbeau, is also involved the project, but suddenly goes missing. Corbeau is actually abducted and held captive by a team of strangely familiar but unknown mutants, who have all being banded together by none other than the long missing Professor X.
They attack a cruise ship and kidnap former Shadowcat. They bring Kitty to Xavier’s hideout in an abandoned bunker in Florida. There, an uncharacteristically cold Xavier reveals he needs Kitty’s help. Kitty manages to shut down a computer virus that was connected to Xavier and was killing him, but before she can extract any answers, she is placed in storage. Elsewhere, Storm, Wolverine, Rogue and Marrow, investigate Corbeau’s disappearance. While the government considers the X-Men the culprits behind his kidnapping, the team has a secret rendezvous with their old ally, Val Cooper. Val indicates that Corbeau’s kidnapping may be somehow connected with the impending launch. Meanwhile, Colossus and Nightcrawler, desperate to enlist the X-Men’s help in finding Kitty, travel to the mansion in Westchester. There, they meet Cecilia Reyes, who tips them off to the current location of the X-Men and hands them over the old Blackbird to use. Elsewhere, Storm, Wolverine, Rogue and Marrow fly towards the Cape Citadel on a jet arranged for them by Val, intent on tracking down the missing Corbeau. However, in mid-air their plane is shot down by the counterfeit X-Men and a fight ensues. Thankfully, the team is rescued by the intervention of Colossus and Nightcrawler, who pick them up with the Blackbird. However, one of the evil “X-Men” damages the Blackbird and causes it to crash.
Kitty escapes from the “X-Men” and saves Dr. Corbeau from them too. The Blackbird is totaled but everyone is safe except for Nightcrawler. Shadowcat meets up with the others to stop the “X-Men” form hijacking the Benassi Rocket. Xavier turns out to not be himself and hijacks the rocket. Rogue absorbs the powers of Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Wolverine to temporarily become one super mutant. The real X-Men destroy the satellite. In the end, the fake Xavier changes himself into a mechanical creature calling itself Cerebro; it reabsorbs the fake X-men into itself.

Cable#58
Blaquesmith sends Cable to Greece where he meets with a group of Askani worshippers who were formerly being led by Cha'vayre. Here he found a weapon from the future, but also made an enemy within the group. Meanwhile, SHIELD has been keeping tabs on Cable, and finally they decide it is time to attack him with a secret weapon called Agent 18.
X-Factor #149
While Havok was attempting to reform X-Factor, one of his time-traveling team members, Greystone, created an experimental time travel device to return him to the future. It exploded in mid-air, seemingly killing Havok and Greystone in front of their teammates.
This is the last issue of X-Factor v1 and I know that Havok was not killed, but transported to a different universe creating the Mutant-X series, which I probably won't be reading. -
Generation X #43-45
Bianca LeNaige and her alien crew hit the Massachusetts Acedemy, and Bianca fights Emma 1v1. Emma wins in the end, and we find out the beef started when Emma took over Bianca's failing business. And also ? :
Bianca and her crew are then forced to fix up the school. Synch goes out to meet with the guys who put him in a coma, and surprisingly he gives them money to buy a new car in order to end the cycle of hatred, as he put it. Meanwhile Husk goes back home to be with Cannonball and their sick mother. When everyone gets back home, they find that the entire biosphere has been stolen and transported to a different place and time.
They decide that losing the biosphere isn't too big of a deal. Later in the issue, Emma Frost & Jono Starsmore get their powers back, and Emma tells the team that there are going to be some new changes, one being that Gaia is now formerly enrolled in the school.
Deadpool@21
Zoe Culloden finally reveals a holographic image of the upcoming threat: a big alien named Tiamat, which Deadpool is supposed to ? ! Wade’s a bit hesitant about having to ? and teleports away. Zoe receives a message from Noah, Overboss Dixon's right hand man, about the mindwipe being done to Monty. She even discovers a hidden agenda of Dixon and teleports away together with Monty. At the same time, Gerry meets up with his old friend Dr. Strange. They discuss other heroes who might be suitable to deal with Tiamat, but Gerry is confident that Deadpool is the only perfect one. Some time later at the LL&L base, Dixon and Noah learn of Zoe and Monty’s departure, thinking they are traitors. Dixon dispatches Noah to a base of his where the radars have gone off-line. Noah leaves, telling Dixon he still trusts him and the Mithras Project. Once Noah is gone, Dixon thinks that’s why Noah is going to lose and he hopes ? will forgive him for it. Back home, Wade gets the unsuspected visit of both Zoe and Monty, and she informs him about what Dixon did to Monty.

Uncanny X-Men #361
Storm & Kitty Pryde meet up with Black Tom Cassidy in Korea in order to steal back Juggernauts power gem, which is causing him to die. Apparently he was lured to Korea by word of a second power gem to enhance his own, however he was tricked and his power gem was leeched from his own body. When they are brought to him, they find that he has disappeared so Storm & Kitty go investigate. When they find him, he is destroying the city but is also definitely gettnig deathly sick.
Suddenly Gambit shows up and begins to attack Juggernaut and we find out that he has also been hired to steal the gem. They arrive at the temple where the gem is being held and must fight off many of the people protecting it. Gambit is able to steal the gem, and though Storm & Kitty think he double crossed them, he winds up returning it to Juggernaut & decides to go back to the X-Men with them.
[X-Men v2 #81
Gambit is back at the Mansion and his reunion with Rogue isn't as bad as he though, as they started off joking with each other right off the bat. Wolverine warns him not to betray the team or Rogue ever again. Rogue & Gambit go off to Boston together to discuss their differences, where they are confronted with an evil woman named Kali.
They are able to stop her and Rogue & Gambit make up. Rogue tells him she loves him, but Gambit can not say it back which causes Rogue to fly off, unaware that some unseen force is purposely holding him back from saying it. -
X-Force #82
X-Force is approached by a kid named Jesse Aaronson, who is a mutant that goes by the name Bedlam. He tells them about how he met Domino and brought her to a place called the Aguilar Institute, where she could find Ekatarina Gryaznova, the woman from Zero Tolerance who implanted something in Domino's brain. In return, he needed help finding his long lost brother. However, Domino was captured and he needed X-Force's help to save her.
We find out that Gryaznova was a double agent, and Bastion transformed her into a horrible creature when he found out. She returned to Aguilar Institute where they made her a hybrid of nature's most efficient predators, and now goes by Gryphon.
X-Force makes it to the institute and Bedlam finds Domino first, and he manages to shut down the mechanical piece in her brain with his mutant power, therefore Domino no longer has her powers dampened. After defeating Gryphon, she self destructs the institute before they can get answers about it, killing herself in the process.
Wolverine v2 #131
Wolverine's wife, Viper who is now the ruler of Madripoor's underworld, had sent a group of Hydra men to a lost city where they contracted an extremely deadly disease. Now Logan must go find it so an antidote can be made before the infection spreads further. However, while on the mission he finds a Hyrda agent who tells him that Viper had lied to get Wolverine on the mission, since they never found the virus in the first place. He then gets attacked by a giant spider holding the virus, he kills it but not before he gets bitten. Obviously he survives due to his healing factor, and brings back a sample to Viper, but destroys it in front of her. -
Cable #59-62
These 4 issues make up an arc called the Nemesis Contract, where Cable is being hunted by SHIELD.
Cable is in a lot of pain now that his TK powers are gone, thus letting the techno-virus run rampant in his body. Next we see a man named Jack Truman AkA Agent 18, out in the African wilderness taking a break from his job as a SHIELD agent, until he is found and assigned to his new mission... taking down Cable.
Truman meets up with GW Bridge, suspicious of his past with Cable, and then apparently Truman has something to do with having Bridge transferred away from the case, and off to Washington. After reading more files, Truman begins to suspect that Cable is not a villain at all. In any case, he devises a plan to let loose an electrical beast named ZZZAX on the streets of Hell's Kitchen in order to bring Cable out. This works as Cable defeats the creature, but is found by Truman.
The two begin to fight, each respecting each other as they do, until they are stopped by SHIELD claiming they will take over from here, which ? Truman off. Cable uses this moment of distraction and is on the run again. Meanwhile, SHIELD blows up half of Hell's Kitchen looking for him. Finally Truman finds him again and beats the ? out of him, however he notices how weak Cable is, and decides it is not over and he will get answers.
Cable is kept hostage with a SHIELD scientist named Belgrade, and Truman begins to regret taking Cable in. We find out that Belgrade plans to cut the techno-material out of Cable's body and use it to upgrade a group of 'Nemesis Robots'. GW Bridge & Truman both find out the truth, and both plan to do something about this cover-up. Irene Merryweather meets up with Bridge and he tells her Cable's location, therefore Blaquesmith is able to contact him telepathically and wake him out of his coma. Then, Truman arrives and removes Cable from his shackles. We then find out that Belgrade did infect some of his robots with the virus, however they became uncontrollable and killed him. Now these four robots are on the loose in the SHIELD aircraft, where Cable & Truman are. Nick Fury is finally briefed on what's going on and he heads into the aircraft to help take down these robots. Fury & Cable work together to take out the robots. Then Truman finds Cable and the two have one final battle before the building collapses around them. Cable escapes but Truman is injured badly, and the last we see of him is while he is being transformed by SHIELD... we will see what they turn him into (pretty sure its Deathlok).
Meanwhile, Bridge & Irene go to the Daily Bugle and convince the man in charge to let her write a story on the real truth of this whole cover-up. Fury fires all parties responsible for the cover-up and they face charges in the Senate. The only people whose name are left out are Cable & Truman. -
Deadpool # 22
Deadpool is really ? that Zoe Culloden & Monty stopped by unannounced so he punches her, and teleports away to meet with Siryn. Cable sees him approaching Siryn while X-Force is asleep and takes him outside to talk. Deadpool ? him off, probably by insinuating that he is a ? , and the two fight. However, while fighting the two have a bit of a breakthrough where they understand each other, and tell their trouble. How touching...
Meanwhile, Overboss Dixon officially succeeded in sending off his right-hand man, Noah, to his death. He seems to regret it, but obviously he is going power-crazy and Zoe, Deadpool & Monty find out about it.
X-Force #83
Cannonball visits home to check on his sick mother. While getting some air, he tracks down a girl who seems to be in trouble, however she leads him into a trap and is attacked by some giant alien-like creature named Ulysses Dragonblood. They knock out Sam, and we find out that they were meaning to set someone else up. The two, Ulysses & Arcadia, are then attacked by an enemy. Cannonball defeats him, but more follow.
In San Francisco, Bedlam begins to be hunted by people he formerly worked for. X-Force stops them from taking him, and we find out these agents work for M.U.S.E. an agency dedicated to placing mutants in safer locations, basically working to protect mutants. Finally, Bedlam tells his life story, beginning with his parents death when he was five. He and his brother were split up, and he had tests being run on him until he was 15 when MUSE finally saved him. However, MUSE believes that his brother is a figment of his imagination created when all of his family was taken from him. -
This next one has nothing to do with any X-Men really, but its on the reading list so I'm just going to read the summaries of it.
Live Kree or Die #1-4 (Ironman v3 #7, Captain America v3 #8, Quicksilver #10 & Avengers v3 #7)
Apparently a group of Kree soldiers called the Lunatic Legion want revenge for the Avengers destroying their empire. They set up a deal with a business woman to retrieve a power plant. Tony Stark finds out about this and heads to the plant where he is attacked by Carol Danvers, who he'd recently ? off calling her an alcoholic. During the fight the Kree arrive and steal the plant. Danvers flies after them, ignoring Avengers protocol to help an innocents first.
Captain America gets a call from Danvers, now known as Warbird, that she is fighting the Legion and he goes off to find her, but not before she is captured. They are basically hosting a concentration camp, gassing prisoners to death. Cap arrives and frees Warbird and the prisoners. Cap is furious when she says she didn't tell any other Avengers, but is quickly back to fighting. Once again Warbird tries to prove herself and flies off to fight, but is captured again and taken towards to moon.
Quicksilver meets with Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch, and the three teleport to the Blue Area of the Moon to find Warbird. They find out that the Kree are trying to turn all humans into their race. They split up and Quicksilver rescues Warbird and leaves her in a room, telling her to stay out of trouble but once he’s gone, she takes a drink of something which resembles alcohol and transforms into Warbird, ? once again (I like this ? ). Wonder Man arrives and they start to defeat the Kree but drunken Carol shows up shooting wildly, injuring some of the Avengers, and forcing a retreat to earth.
Warbird receives a court martial at the hands of her fellow Avengers, the proceedings being chaired by Thor. Iron Man, Captain America and Quicksilver provide evidence against her relating to her alcoholism, her lack of professionalism and her inability to follow Avengers procedures. Before a verdict is forthcoming, the Vision receives a call from the Moon saying the Lunatic Legion is still a threat. They bring along the reserves, Justice & Firestar and head for the moon without Warbird who quits. They begin to defeat the opponent, however Carol decided to head for the moon herself, but the air gets too thin and she heads back to earth for a drink. They manage to defeat Kree, but who knows what Warbird will do now. -
X-Force #83
We find out that the people who attacked Cannonbal, Ulysses & Arcadia are Argos, Stranglehold, Zona & Pyre and they make up a group called The Sword.
Arcadia teleports the rest of X-Factor to help them. They defeat The Sword and we find out that Ulysses is protecting Arcardia because she has reality shifting powers that she still is not sure how to use correctly. There is a race of people called the Deviants who are battling each other and want to use Arcadia as a weapon against their enemy. Ulysses returns with her to their home planet, however this is not the end of that battle.
X-Men Liberators #1-4
This should be a cool little mini-series focusing around Wolverine, Nightcrawler & Colossus (3 guys who used to be good friends before they switched teams and ? ).
Wolverine & Nightcrawler accompany Colossus on a trip to Russia. While on their way we see a man named Sergei running a sort of concentration camp called Province 13 for raising mutants to use as weapons. However, one of the more viscous mutants escapes, and his touch kills. While Colossus is off at his parents grave he is attacked by Sergei's troops, but he escapes. However, Wolvering is injured in the forest by the creature who escaped Province 13 and he is taken prisoner after the creature runs away. Province 13 also finds Omega Red in the Savage Land and brings him back.
Nightcrawler is able to rescue Wolverine, though he is very weak. Omega Red confronts Sergei about why X-Men are involved with Province 13. As a team they are able to take down the whole operation, and Sergei kills himself in the process. -
These next four issues are a crossover arc involving Nate Grey & Cable, its called Blood Brothers.
X-Man #45-47 & Cable #63
Nate & Maddie are still in Ireland and he has a nightmare about destroying the world accidentally. He wakes up and sees an image of some tech-gnome casting the dream into him, but it disappears. Meanwhile, we see the guy named Ness, who has been stalking Nate, mixing it up with some strange creatures from his race known as the Hellbent. Two strange twin girls and their pet wold try to ? him, but only manage to ? his friend. Before he dies, he warns him to go to the Philippines to deal with this Tech-Gnome crisis, which is where Nate & Madelyn Pryor are currently teleporting to.
In the Philippines they find the base of the mysterious Blaquesmith who appears to be the creator of the Tech-Gnomes and the man messing with Nate's dreams all as tests to see what Nate is all about, and to prepare him for this end of the world possibility. Nate and Maddie are then teleported by him to Latveria, where a strange pyramid crashes down from the sky destroying Castle Doom (Dr Doom hasn't been in Latveria since the Onslaught arc). The Avengers are called off from interfering by Nick Fury, who says no one is to go there without word from him first.
Suddenly, the door to the pyramid opens and out comes Stryfe!!! along with his crew, the Dark Riders, ready to set up shop now that the powerful psis of the world are at their weakest.
Madelyne teleports to Scott and Jean’s house in Alaska and saves Jean from being slain. Back in Latveria, Nate reclaims his telepathy, after being attacked by Psynapse and becomes more powerful than ever. He is captured, however, by Stryfe who starts siphoning Nate’s psi-energies into himself.
As Madelyne returns to Latveria, she is reunited with Cable. Meanwhile, in Tramahoi, Ness is about to demand some answers from Blaquesmith. Next, Cable and Madelyn storm the Castle (no pun) and must fight a bunch of robots. Finally, Cable makes it to Stryfe in time to save Nate Grey, however the two are defeated after Cable loses his edge with Stryfe making jokes about ? his dead wife... lol ? up.
As soon as the tables turn in Stryfe's advantage, Madelyn Pryor becomes a traitor and takes his side. Cable & Nate are able to escape while Maddy & Stryfe look over their newly conquered country. However, Nate Grey wakes up wanting to save Maddy, and when the pyramid starts growing, he rushes in. Meanwhile, Ness has showed up and realizes this is the place he foresaw Nate destroying the world. When Nate he rushes Stryfe and is attacked, Maddy shows her true colors and protects him. He steals much of her life energy, and Cable rushes to her side while Nate & Stryfe battle one on one. Suddenly, Ness appears in the pyramond, urging Nate to remember his vision. Nate uses his telekinesis, locking Doom’s Power Siphon device on Stryfe’s head, catching him into an energy-feedback-loop cycle, until he overloads and explodes. The crisis past, Ness, Nate, Madelyne and Cable all gather together as a new day dawns for Latveria.

THE HUNT FOR XAVIER
The next 6 issues revolve around the X-Men finally trying to find Charles Xavier after he went missing during Zero Tolerance.
Uncanny X-Men #362-364 & X-Men v2 #82-84
We start off with SHIELD trying to take down Pyro in Nebraska, who is spiraling out of control spreading fires and seemingly called for Xavier. Nick Fury approaches the X-Men about this and asks for their help finding him.
In Nebraska, the X-Men succeed in saving lives from Pyro and dousing his flames, however he becomes burnt out and near death when SHIELD steps in and takes him into custody. We also see that some unidentified figure was possibly the cause of the fires, and Pyro was just running from him. Meanwhile, we see that Xavier is on the run with an unknown accomplice. Also, Dr. Cecilia Reyes is now running her own medical office at the Salem Center where she recieves a huge package from Moira MacTaggart. It turns out to be her own version of cerebro, which Kitty uses to try to find Xavier. They receive two different matches for his bio-signature, one in San Francisco and one in Russia so the X-Men split up to find him.
Storm, Colossus, Rogue & Gambit make it to Russie and come across a giant ice palace where they think they'll find the professor, and once inside they find a lot of dead monks.
There they encounter a huge crystal barrier, and upon entering find themselves in a world of altered realities where a little girl called Nina uses her psychic powers to try and keep them away. Nina is taking her orders from someone that she calls "Charley." The X-Men find a way out of their warped reality; strong emotions. When they escape Nina's guardian, Renée (who was an old friend of Charles Xavier and was part of the Genoshan war), identifies them as the X-Men. Nina is upset, though; they have let in the very monster that she was trying to prevent access to her. It is called Cerebro, and it has come for Charles Xavier, and it is to eliminate all opposition.

The real Professor Xavier is revealed to be on Alcatraz Island, apparently a prisoner of the new Brotherhood of Mutants. Charles lookin like a G in his prison suit though...
Meanwhile some other form of Cerebro hunts down a latent mutant female and apparently kills her? Maybe. Then it makes its way to Area 52 in Utah.
Wolverine, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler & Marrow arrive in San Francisco. They pay a visit to an old friend of Wolverine who winds up telling them they can find Professor X with the Brotherhood in Alcatraz, and when they arrive there they are attacked. The Brotherhood still has Toad & Blob but Mimic & Post have also joined now.
Their enemies know their tactics and training. It becomes evident why when they find Xavier, who turns out to be not their prisoner, but their teacher. A powerless Xavier tells them that enemies can be bound together by the need to fight a mutual foe. A foe which has gained sentience because of Bastion; a foe called Cerebro. At that moment a unit of Cerebro crashes in, calling itself Cerebrite Beta. It has come for Xavier, and to catalogue the mutants with him.

Hunt for Xavier Continued...
Back in the ice palace in Russia, the other X-Men try to fight off the other Cerebrite Alpha. The little girl Nina helps them, which we find out is a mutant with reality warping powers and the same bio-signature as Charles Xavier. They are able to fend it off and escape with their lives. Later, Renee Majcomb tells the X-Men about how Charles saved Nina from Bastion during Operation Zero Tolerance, and helped her escape. During the story Cerebrite Alpha returns and bonds itself to Colossus. The X-Men are taken down yet again, leaving Nina unprotected. Storm is apparently killed. Cerebrite Alpha takes Nina and heads off to be with Cerebro, where humanity awaits their final program.
Cerebro Prime is checking over current activities concerning mutants when his current base is detected. He quits the base, taking his files with him, and ordering the discorporation of his fake X-Men as he leaves. His base explodes due to the self-destruct.
Back at Alcatraz the X-Men & Brotherhood fight together against Cerebrite Beta. The creature apparently kills Toad, Kitty & Mimic. Blob explains that Cerebrite Beta is an unit commanded by Cerebro, who was created by Bastion during Operation: Zero Tolerance. Xavier explains that Kitty, Toad, and Mimic were not killed, just moved somewhere else. He feels the only to get Kitty back is to be "moved" by Cerebrite Beta too, much to Marrow's horror. As Nightcrawler, who had gone back to the jet, flies over-head, he sees the X-Men vanish. He decides to go to Tajikistan to find the other X-Men, thinking they can help him find his team-mates; if they are even alive.
The X-Men not taken by Cerebro (Rogue, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Gambit, plus Renée) are heading out in the X-jet to find Xavier. Suddenly Cerebrites Bet and Alpha attack the jet. Cerebro explains to Xavier of his creation; Bastion was indeed his accidental creator, and his mission is to scan and catalogue every human on Earth. Once catalogued all hostilities will cease. To do this they need to bond. Xavier wont do it, so Cerebro grabs Nina, threatening to rip the information out of her mind on how to reactivate his telepathic powers. At that moment the X-Men arrive, after bailing out of the jet during a fight with the Cerebrites. Xavier has no choice; he allows Nina to reactivate his powers.
Cerebro activates the Xavier protocols, and swiftly the X-Men are killed. However, it turns out to be a trick made by Xavier and Nina. Xavier quickly uses his powers to stop the Cerebrites so the X-Men can take them out. But Cerebro's mind is still active, and tries to activate the nanos that will sweep the power-lines and scan and catalogue every human on Earth! Xavier and Nina enter the astral realm, where Nina is able to reprogram the nanos so Cerebro scans human minds instead. Seeing them as individuals confuses him to the point where he dissipates into nothingness. With Xavier returned to them, and Cerebro defeated, the X-Men decide to return home. -
Toad gets sonned whenever he makes an appearance.

Operation Zero Tolerance was an underrated crossover to me and I wish it would've been written in modern times. I mean ? the x men were pretty ? during that storyline; you legit felt the sense of peril and helplessness for them.

Wolverine v2 #133-138 // The Great Escape
Wolverine is chilling with Carol Danvers at a bar and she's getting mad ? because she's still depressed over being dropped from the Avengers. Suddenly they see that the UN is being attacked by a female mutant named Powerhouse who is trying to prove a point about human/mutant relations. Wolverine & Carol head to the destruction and they manage to stop her, even though Carol is extremely reckless.
Meanwhile some mysterious female alien who hops bodies has made its way to earth and in the wreckage of the UN fight, manages to take control of Wolverine. He begins attacking Carol & the police until Vision, Firestar & Justice arrive to confront him. He defeats them easily and then takes out Moon Knight, who arrived to try and help. Next he squares off against Captain America, Black Widow & Falcon as well as two villains named Cardiac & Solo. Lastly, he also defeats Human Torch, Black Cat, Darkhawk, Rage & Speedball. Finally, the woman in his body tells him that her name is Aria and it was all a test because she needs help defeating a man named The Collector who has millions of prisoner entrapped on his planet, and Logan accepts.
Once they make it to the Prison world, they are separated after defeating alien guards they meet up again, but she is now in the body of a different alien. However they are soon both captured by Sidri aliens & taken into custody. While in prison Logan is able to unite the prisoners and come up with an escape plan. In another section Aria is taken from the body she is in and placed in an inhibitor. Unfortunately, the Starjammers find out about this and decide to side with the Collector. Logan is eventually able to get free and rescue Aria as well as let all of the prisoners free, who begin to riot. During the struggle the planet begins to break apart around them. Just then the massive form of Galactus appears before them. Together Wolverina, Aria & the Starjammers decide to try and attack Galactus’ converter in an attempt to stop him. Unfortunately, their plan is for naught and both Torgo and Aria are injured. Logan attempt to take out the converter himself, but his bone claws break while he strikes it. At that moment, Ch’od arrives via teleportation and pleads with Logan to come back with him. Logan denies until Torgo and Aria arrive on the scene. Torgo stays behind while the trio teleport away. Aboard the Starjammers ship, Logan watches the planet blow up and learns that Aria has died. Back on Earth, Logan meets up with Carol Danvers in an attempt at reconciliation. He knows Carol will forgive what he did to her but he will never forgive himself for what he did afterwards. -
Generation X #47
Forge comes to the school to build them a new danger room in the gym, since the biosphere was stolen. Emma also tells Artie & Leech that they will soon begin training in the use of their powers. While Forge is giving the kids a lesson, a cyber-morph (a form of artificial intelligence that Forge deactivate and programmed into the danger room) named Paradox comes alive and attacks. The kids finish him off with ease.
Cable #64
Cable decides to finally tell Irene Merryweather his life story, which he'd been promising her all along, so she could write about it. This is basically a retelling of the Origin of Cable, which I've already read so I won't get into this issue summary. You can wikipedia Cable and read all that lol, hella complicated.
X-Force #84
We start off seeing Skids & Locus, who had been captured a couple issues back, being held prisoner somewhere in Latveria. Skids is trying to excape, but Locus has been reduced to a whimpering coward on the floor. We find out it is some old lady named Pandemonia who imprisoned them and plans to use them to finally escape the mountain they are staying on. She teleports with the two girls, taking control of their minds, and winds up in the X-Force base and is able to control all of them, minus Cannonball & Moonstar & Jesse Aaronson. When they return home, they find the place has been redecorated into some type of dungeon. Then they come face to face with their teammates, however they are certainly not normal.
After being attacked they retreat and meet up with a guy who is familiar with witches and magic, he tells them to go visit Jennifer Kale who is a very powerful sorceress. She easily figures out the identity of Pandemonia and helps the 3 of them to defeat her. After they return her to where she came from, Skids is reunited with the team and Locus talks some ? before leaving. The only question now is, Moonstar was using some very strange new powers that she never had before, which could be a result of her run-in with Arcadia.

Deadpool #23-25
The next three issues are called Dead Reckoning.
Apparently Deadpool & Zoe Culloden finally think he is ready to proceed to the confrontation with Tiamat. Deadpool apologizes to her about her partner, Noah's, death and lets her know that he is done joking around about this whole mission, and he will be 100% focused. They arrive at the base where they find Noah & other corpses. Back at the base, Dixon tells his agents to contact the “second string” like planned. Monty fears something is up and that he knew what, but Dixon made him forget. Back at the Deadhut, Gerry and Blind Al are approached by Blackout agents and Gerry recalls that he taught Dixon well. Deadpool gets attacked by Tiamat.
But then, she notices a panel on which Tiamat kills the merc. She tries to warn Wade about it, but Dixon teleports her back to base. She learns the truth that Dixon set them all up, and gave Monty the mind-wipe because he told him Deadpool would survive the confrontation, where he would go to and how Dixon could deal with that and call in his other helper. He slaps Zoe in the face, upsetting Monty, who fights, Dixon giving Zoe the chance to escape. A beaten up Deadpool also manages to escape back to the Deadhut, where Al takes care of him, but Wade believes he’s a loser. Zoe arrives at Wade’s home as well, where she notices a time bomb, which explodes, destroying the entire Deadhut! Later, Dixon summons the man he believes is the true Mithras:
Tiamat rushes through some Landau, Luckman & Lake Blackout agents and kills them all. He escapes back into the ocean of Puerto Rico, where he takes some time to recover. In Chicago, Gerry desperately searches at the Hellhouse for clues about Deadpool’s whereabouts, but he is nowhere to be found. Later at the San Francisco Golden Gate Park, Gerry reveals his real name to Blind Al and Zoe: he is actually Gerry Lequare, the formerly believed dead, fourth “L” member of Landau, Luckman & Lake! Years ago, Gerry went undercover in an attempt to train Deadpool better for his big fight against Tiamat but it looks like Gerry failed a little. At the same time at the LL&L operation base, Dixon explains to Captain America what being a Mithras is all about. After seeing Monty’s bad condition, he thinks Dixon lies about most things, but still wants to defend the Earth from an alien threat. In outer space, a comet flies at full speed and kills some Shi’Ar crewman, and even worries the Watcher.
In Egypt, Dixon and his aides prepare Captain America for his confrontation with Tiamat and give him a robotic suit to wear for his own protection. Elsewhere, Blind Al, Gerry and Zoe are still searching for the missing Deadpool. Gerry has an idea: he sends Zoe back to the Landau, Luckman & Lake base so she can rescue Monty and he travels with Al back in time. They travel a few months back, where Deadpool was confronting Sasquatch. The real Deadpool is trying to figure out why Zoe and Noah were so stubborn to have him as the Mithras, even though Noah wasn’t certain that they had the right target. After a pep-talk from Al, who tells him a story of an adventure she had with a true hero during World War II, they travel back to the present. Cap is defeated by Tiamat but luckily Wade arrives on the scene. But on that very moment, the strange comet (the Messiah) also lands on Earth and is revealed to be the Destroyer, the true enemy. With Tiamat being too stubborn to ? Wade, his council bosses strip him off his powers and armor and temporarily give it to Deadpool. They telepathically teach him what the Destroyer is all about, stripping humans of free will, and Wade realizes the danger and manages to defeat him and bring Cap back to normal.
Some time later, Zoe is promoted as new Overboss of Landau, Luckman & Lake. Dixon gets put into a mental institution, watched over by the three main bosses of LL&L. After receiving a kiss from Monty, Zoe decided that he is of no longer use to the company. Captain America doesn't remember much of the whole thing and has been sent home. Unfortunately, Deadpool, Blind Al, Gerry, Tiamat and the Destroyer have all vanished from sight. Zoe suggests that the company forgets of ever having met Wade, and heads to her training.
