Shouts to @dandctt for inspiring this spin-off thread of @ghostf4cekilla 's thread. We've all seen some strange things in wrestling over the years but as kids we sometimes couldn't tell what was real or fake. What are some the strangest things you believed about wrestling as a young buck?

When they said the undertaker lived in death's valley i thought it was like the grand canyon with crows at the top and he lived in a little cave at the bottom

i thought the fake diesel and fake razor ramon were really scott hall and kevin nash. i remember watching raw when the fake razor debuted and switching over to nitro and scott hall happened to be on there talking i was like how is he two different places at the same time lol
addition to that i thought every raw back then was live (when most of them were actually taped)
i was scared as ? of mankind when he first started, i thought he was a ? in real life
i remember everybody used to swear that goldberg and stone cold were actually gonna fight on ppv in like 98-99
i thought the crow sting really didnt ever talk even outside of wrestling
During the whole Hart Foundation Canada vs USA thing in 97 i thought Canada and the US really hated each other and I didnt want drink this soda that i saw was made in canada cuz i thought canadians would try to poison us all over a wrestling storyline
i used to legit hate triple h when he used to ? with stone cold (especially after that whole snake bite incident)
i used to think Shawn Michaels was the coolest dude alive and i wanted to be him (still my wrestling GOAT)
I still dont know why the crowd turned on hbk after summerslam 97 it was a accident he was tryna hit bret lol
i thought undertaker wasn't coming back after kane put him in that casket chopped it with an ax and lit it on fire
i still low-key wonder how those buried alive matches work lol (trap doors?)
even as a kid i knew that undertaker was always the same guy and same for ultimate warrior when ? was swearing they were different ppl
i thought d-lo brown would eventually be wwf champion
even tho i wasnt quite a kid anymore lol i stopped watching in 03 after brock lesnar turned on kurt angle, i never thought a particular moment would make me quit watching but that did it (mainly cuz i saw it coming and thought it got way too predictable) -
I thought that the tombstone pile driver was a devastating and dangerous move
then I found out that the undertaker is so tall that it is entirely harmless and 100% safe
dude just drops on his knees which gives the illusion of the move being lethal

I really thought Taker was a Zombie like dead ? when he debuted.
i thought Yokozuna was really breaking ? ribs/hurting ? when he would drop the Banzi drop.
I really thought that was Taker going up in to the rafters/Heaven Rumble 94. -

Crazy how Papa Shango became the godfather lol. Undertaker vs Shango coykd have been epic at that time -
i still don't know if Jake the Snake had that snake really bite Macho Man, because I read that the snake died a week later because it lost it fangs because of that bite.

That Ultimate Warrior/Papa Shango ? had me ? up.
Hulk Hogan having broken/crushed ribs after [INSERT FAT WRESTLER HERE] sat on his chest a few times. Then it got tired after it happened every time he faced a fat wrestler.
The start of the nWo invasion of WCW was believable because the internet was just starting and a good 99% of the people had no idea that Hall and Nash had left WWF because their contracts were up. I had no idea what was going on with that.
I thought ECW was real........period.

I didn't like the rock when he first came into the wwf i thought he was some lame mulatto Elvis impersonator
till this day i think hacksaw jim duggan is always sauced and was some ? they found just layed off from a construction job, that they picked up for 20 and a bottle of jack, and i also believe his breath smells like burnt after birth
i went to my friends house to watch a wwf ppv and all of the sudden his moms came up to the tv and started squeezing triple h nipples and murmuring sexual advances to him for a good 5 min, i was so confused i wanted to burst out laffing but i didn't want to get in trouble it still remains one of the weirdest incidents of all time -
