Not a bad opinion but not to me.
-
i feel bad for you if this was the best album you listened in the past 10 years.
-
College dropout proved to be more influential on the culture
Blueprint was better
But GRODT was certainly a classic that defined the early-mid 2000s -
Classic album but nah.

^^ 10 albums from the 2000s that I think are better than GRODT (not commercially).DMTxCannabis wrote: »...and whoever that was on My Country was wack as ? . ? was all offbeat.
I usually skip that dude's verse. Still a dope song without him.
My Country = Hello Brooklyn.
Both are songs from damn near flawless albums that coulda been better with a different guest appearance imo.
Cosign. MMLP is wack. -
people may have their disagreements on the title thread but lets admit GRODT is a unanimous classic

Personally I think
College Dropout
Eminem Show
MMLP
Lost Tapes
Stillmatic
Blueprint
The Fix
A Long Hot Summer

Generic Gangsta Raps Over Solid Production With Little Replay Value Does Not Make For A Classic

People can't deny its impact. Overrated? Definitely, but it changed the game for few years and took it back to the streets after years of bubble-gum rap. College Dropout aged better though. Its legacy is bigger and album is pure perfection from start to finish.
-
Not even Top 5
-
LMAO@ Hunger For More
I would say that College Dropout or Food N Liquor -
im so glad i dont consider that album a classic. my taste in music would be all fcuked up!
-
Like My Style, 21 Questions <<<<<<<<<<<<. And My Country and Rule was dope, what you talkin bout?
Music is subjective and all but I disagree My Country and Rule were dope.
-
Was not even the best or most important album of that year. Trap Muzik was better and more diverse.
-
Its a great instrumental album....its an okay-good rap album. The hype surrounding the album was more memorable than the album itself....everything I said applies to Thug Motivation 101 as well.
-
The moment a poster uses the phrase "This is better than your favorite MC" their post immediately becomes ?
-
Was not even the most important album of that year.
You lying. GRODT was the biggest Rap album of 03. They hype surrounding 50/GRODT was bonkers. -
-
Blueprint not close and is highly debatable as a 'classic'. College Dropout is a true classic as well as Get Rich, the one you like best will be determined by your inclinations. Im not soft or ? so GRODT>>>>CollegeDropout. I havent heard a better rap album since either of them tho.

man on some real ? it is the best album in the last 10, These ? still mad at fif but they gonna start stannin him once ross gets dropped on his ass
