College dropout proved to be more influential on the culture

    Blueprint was better

But GRODT was certainly a classic that defined the early-mid 2000s

    Like Water For Chocolate, Common.
    Be, Common.
    Late Registration, Kanye.
    College Dropout, Kanye.
    The Blueprint, Jay-Z.
    American Gangster, Jay-Z.
    Supreme Clientele, Ghostface.
    The Truth, Beanie Sigel.
A Gangster and a Gentleman, Styles.
    Graduation, Kanye.

^^ 10 albums from the 2000s that I think are better than GRODT (not commercially).

...and whoever that was on My Country was wack as ? . ? was all offbeat.

I usually skip that dude's verse. Still a dope song without him.

    My Country = Hello Brooklyn.

Both are songs from damn near flawless albums that coulda been better with a different guest appearance imo.

People can't deny its impact. Overrated? Definitely, but it changed the game for few years and took it back to the streets after years of bubble-gum rap. College Dropout aged better though. Its legacy is bigger and album is pure perfection from start to finish.

One of the last hip hop classics but I have to disagree.

    Stillmatic>>

    bwhahahahah

Stillmatic? You mean with ? like braveheart party, my country, smoking and corny ass "rule"? Stop that ? . The Lost Tapes would have a better chance than stillmatic

Like My Style, 21 Questions <<<<<<<<<<<<. And My Country and Rule was dope, what you talkin bout?

Music is subjective and all but I disagree My Country and Rule were dope.

Was not even the best or most important album of that year. Trap Muzik was better and more diverse.

Its a great instrumental album....its an okay-good rap album. The hype surrounding the album was more memorable than the album itself....everything I said applies to Thug Motivation 101 as well.

Blueprint not close and is highly debatable as a 'classic'. College Dropout is a true classic as well as Get Rich, the one you like best will be determined by your inclinations. Im not soft or ? so GRODT>>>>CollegeDropout. I havent heard a better rap album since either of them tho.
