Final Round 16
The Run Down: Final Round 16 will take place in Atlanta, Georgia on March 29-31 and is hosted by Larry "ShinBlanka" Dixon. There will be tons of different singles and team tournaments held for Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Street Fighter X Tekken, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Melty Blood: AA, King of Fighters 13, Persona 4 Arena, Dead or Alive 5, Mortal Kombat 9 and more.
There will be a few special events going on this weekend including a Curleh Mustache team tournament, a Capcom hosted Darkstalkers Resurrection invitational, a Marvel vs. Capcom 2 tournament and exhibition, and a Tekken Tag Tournament 2 5v5 event. Additionally, Namco Bandai has a $5,000 prize bonus for TTT2 singles and Team Ninja has added a $5,000 ? bonus to the top 8 of Dead or Alive 5.
Who's expected to show: Infiltration, CafeID|Poongko, AGE|NYChrisG, WW|Ryan Hart, EG|PR Balrog, EG|Justin Wong, EMP|IFC Yipes, RZR|Latif, coL|FlipinoChamp, EG|Ricky Ortiz, Wolfkrone, EMP|Dieminion, AGE|Knives, AGE|Fanatiq, MH|RayRay, Moons, TA|Frutsy, Flocker, EG|fLoE, UVG|Noel Brown, TS|Arturo Sanchez, JDCR, AGE|Flash Metroid, Neo, Chris Schmidt, CORN|Sethlolol, CORN|FootWork, ? Itz Andre, DJ Huoshen, FR|RoachKing, FR|TooMuchDamage, NYCFab, FightingGM, RIP, RyRy, IGT|Unkn0wn, KaneBlueRiver and more.
Who to look out for: In UMvC3, AGE|NYChrisG is still the player to beat, as he's rarely lost as of late, but EG|PR Balrog, EMP|IFC Yipes, EG|Justin Wong and coL|Filipino Champ will be looking to dethrone the current champion. Several other players should give these guys a great run for their money as well. The Marvel bracket is incredibly stacked this year.
For Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012, Infiltration is flying into the states once again, and he's definitely the person to look out for, as he's been demolishing nearly everyone he plays. He'll have to contend with CafeID|Poongko, EG|PR Balrog, WW|Ryan Hart, EG|Ricky Ortiz, EG|Justin Wong, EMP|Diemion, RZR|Latif, WolfKrone and more.
Streaming duties: There will be six different streams for this event; Team Spooky, FunkyP, SixFortyFive and GoForBroke, along with two unannounced Mortal Kombat streams.
