Tay Roc got a nice mixtape, Grandad Cocaloso I think its called.
BUT, this ? was ash against Charlie. My favorite battle of his is against Cortez. That "? and span" bar was g.o.a.t.
He had an impressive first round vs Magic, but i still thank Magic got first, sec, and third. -
Bigg K got that 3-0 no bodybag, his best performance to date.
Got tired of Rock saying "thats light" after every damn bar, he won tho. Will wouldve probably gotten it without the slip ups. -
I finally watched Ill Will vs Tay Roc
I have a thing about schemes. They have to be structured well otherwise they would fall apart. One missing piece, is like playing Jenga. I noticed Tay Rock was making the "what the hell?" face a bunch of times during Ill Will first round. and I think Will spelled BMoore backwards, cool but that's not as impressive as id luke it to be.
I hate to say it, but Table Rock edged him every round. that Kyla Pratt line was funny as ? . -

Tay Roc had a great performance, and i can understand why yall said he won. But i preferred Ill Wills ? compared to Roc.

In no order.
Crowd control- When they tried that ? ass boo'n ? on Ill Will , he checked them ? quick. Aint too many ? who can do that, an out of towner at that.
I wanna see the ? rap AT his opponent, some cats just get up there and rap.
Exp. of one ? rappin at his opponent and one just rappin (zay went crazy in the 3rd)

One reason I dislike seeing friends battle eachother,cuz i want it to seem like you really hate your opponent. Dont just be up there rhyming , say that ? like you mean it. Smiling and dapping eachother the whole battle is wack af. If the your opponent spazzed during his round , then I understand a dap at the end of his round outta respect tho.
Respect- Dont talk during a ? 's round. That ? only shows his bars is gettin to you, so I take that into account when judging a battle.
To sum it all up, I wanna see an mc lyrically bully his opponent and take his soul. -

I like believability (part of presence) and angles (comes with the personals). I like the creativity and breaking your opponent down in rhyme and style.

Delivery/Flow - Be able to rap. Please. If your flow is garbage or you can't find the right speed that's gonna be one strike against you. Also be able to inject your character into the bars with your delivery, accentuating and emphasizing the right words or phrases can make things more impactful.
Creativity - Aside from wordplay I like to see creative angles and creative approaches...bringing something new to the table.
Originality/Unique Personality - A style and sound you can clearly call your own
Intensity/Energy - Get in the ring to do work and put on a show. Be serious about your craft and TRY to win Try to dismantle the opponent in some way...and don't let up halfway through the battle. Battles nowadays are done w/ at least 2 weeks prep if not 2, 3, and 4 or 17 (Lux smh) months. No excuses to not have enough material and know it.
Versatility - Do you have ONE trick or several at your disposal? You need to be able to keep it fresh. I don't want to see a dude throwing left hooks all night. I need to see combos.

I was strictly talkin about performance, but yall pretty much touched all the major keys as far as bars and rhymes.
Idk if that uw card was real that was posted , but if it is I got...
Lux >Hollow -These are my 2 favorites of alltime, but if i had to bet id pick lux to edge it.
hitman > surf- great battle, but i see hitman making up for that ? he pulled in the 3rd round in his last battle.
arsonal > ill - I see arsonal trying to make this ? cry on stage.
magic > red - If they both come to ? , it'll be amazing. I see magic edging it.
lotta > tay - lotta is too clever for this ? .
Ill will > suge - No explanation needed. -
I don't believe that card. I thought it was someone's dream card. And shame on that man for including Shotgun Suge. I'd rather see a Lotta Zay vs Ill will rematch.
Didn't Yung Ill battle somebody at that shoe event in October?
