    If Walker and Hill come back e gone be primed for a run next year too. Boy I swear we better beat UConn this time around when they come to Gainesville early next year, I'll probably be at that game.

    how is it any different john wodden? remember Pat summit had a monopoly of womens talent and geno outta nowhere stopped her reign and out did it. that's like if some ? beat ucla and wooden then won 11 titles or some ? after his reign.

    To establish the uconn womens program is 10 times harder than establishing any male program nowadays. Womens sports was ? scouting wise back in the 90's and there were not estiblished aau type teams till the turn of the century.

    California has hired Tennessee's Cuonzo Martin as its head coach.

    Cal announced Martin's hiring Tuesday. He replaces Mike Montgomery, who retired last month after six seasons in Berkeley.

    Martin went 63-41 in three seasons at Tennessee, including a 24-13 mark and an appearance in the regional semifinals of the NCAA tournament this season. He was previously the coach at Missouri State.

    Martin was scheduled to be introduced at Cal during a news conference Tuesday afternoon.
