He is what they want...someone completely disconnected from what The U is really about.

Miami wont ever be as successfull as the past until they embrace all the past...even the bad ? .

And rebuilding that fence around south fla would probably help a lot too

    What happen?

He and the rb coach recruited dude, and the day after he signs LOI, the rb coach signs a deal with the Bears. Turns out the rb coa h had a deal in pla e with the Bears for weeks, Urban knew, the rb coach knew, even the beat writers for OSU knew.Weber would have not have signed with them if he knew the rb coach was leaving.

    That's ? up

But the NCAA thinks players sign with schools instead of the coaches.

It's even more ? up because of this...many are saying that Urban only wanted to sign dude to throw it at Harbaugh face that they got Detroit's BEST player two years in a row (both players from Cass Tech) ...see what Meyer did was tell Weber that Michigan doesn't have a coach yet (Harbaugh wasn't sign as the coach yet) ...so Weber starting leaning toward osu, and then later Weber talked to Harbaugh and asked if UM recruiting another RB (Weber wanted to be the only RB recruit for that starting spot) ..UM told him they were recruiting Higdon as well...but Weber was still leaning toward both osu and UM (his kinfolks wanted him to go to UM) and everybody in Detroit was trying to warn him that Meyer was going to be ? with the recruiting but he didn't listen. Now everybody in Detroit like "told you so".

If anything, his (Weber) head coach is ? at Meyer...this pretty much makes the Detroit schools send their guys to UM (or MSU) now and locks out Meyer from recruiting in Detroit. Harbaugh should start locking down Cass Tech and other area schools the next year.

Florida State reportedly pulled scholarship offer from football recruit named in wrongful death lawsuit

    16944292-mmmain.jpg

Football prospect Brian Bell did not sign with Florida State on Wednesday, reportedly because the school's administration would not allow it.

Bell, from Lowndes County High School in Valdosta, Ga., has been named in a wrongful death lawsuit involving football teammate Kendrick Johnson, who was found dead inside the school in 2013. Though Bell was never charged legally, Johnson's family has accused Bell and others of killing Johnson.

Wednesday was National Signing Day for the Class of 2015, but Bell did not sign with Florida State (or any other program) despite being verbally committed to the Seminoles for nearly a year. Florida State has issued no formal comment on the Bell situation, though the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Wednesday that the school had pulled his scholarship offer.

The order to do so reportedly came from athletic director Stan Wilcox and university president John Thrasher. Lowndes County football coach Randy McPherson met with Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher last week and released the following statement to the Valdosta Daily Times:

"Last Wednesday morning Coach Jimbo Fisher told me that the FSU Athletic Director and the President would not let him give Brian Bell a scholarship. We went to meet with the FSU President the next day. The next morning, Jimbo called me and told me that they still were not going to let him give Brian a scholarship."

Johnson, 17, was found dead and rolled up in a wrestling mat at the old Lowndes County High School gymnasium in January 2013. Local and state authorities ruled his death an accidental asphyxiation (reportedly theorizing that he became trapped while trying to retrieve a shoe), though the U.S. Attorney in Macon continues to look into the matter.

The Johnson family lawsuit accuses Bell and his older brother Brandon Bell of beating Johnson to death after he was lured into the gym by an unnamed female. The suit also names the Bells' father, FBI agent Rick Bell, the school and various local and state law enforcement agencies.

Brice Ladson, the Bell family attorney, told ESPN.com the situation was both absurd and tragic.

"This young man did nothing," Ladson said. "There is no possibility he had anything to do with the tragic death of this young man. Yet, [the Johnson] family has not accepted that and believes someone killed him. They decided to pick on this young man. It's just a real tragedy -- all the way around."

Brian Bell, rated a three-star prospect according to 247 Sports composite, also held scholarship offers from Clemson, Georgia Tech and Louisville, among other schools. It remains unclear if Bell's other offers still stand or if he will sign with another school.

I hope nobody signs him if he had a hand in dude's death.

He's not guilty or charged with anything though.

    Cops shut the case down.

Of course they did. You see the part where his dad is an FBI agent?

And they released over 300 hours of surveillance footage from the school but for some "mysterious" reason there are two hours missing from the day dude died.

How, he hasn't been charged? Just like Jameis wasn't charged and Jimbo supported him.
