Although many believed it was a stretch that LeBron would leave Miami, the devastating loss to the Spurs may have changed the outlook. One destination that may intrigue the superstar is Los Angeles, but not to join the Lakers.

According to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports, LeBron and his family have taken a shine to Los Angeles:

The Los Angeles Clippers? Well, a source said James and his wife, Savannah, love Los Angeles. LeBron James also is close with Clippers point guard Chris Paul and he admires coach Doc Rivers. But the Clippers already have at minimum $66 million in committed salary next season, which leaves no room for James’ max salary.

The rumors will kick into high gear with the Heat losing in convincing fashion to a superior Spurs squad led by aging veterans Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili.

Recently, the Lakers were linked to LeBron with talk of the team waiting on hiring a new head coach with hopes of signing the superstar. The storied franchise landing LeBron is a stretch to say the least, but Mitch Kupchak and company may think there’s an outside chance to bring him to Los Angeles.

LeBron currently has two years left on his deal with the Heat worth $20.5 million next season and $22.1 million for the 2015-16 season. The future Hall of Famer could return to the Cleveland Cavaliers this summer and sign a max deal to play alongside Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters and whoever the team chooses with the top pick in the 2014 NBA draft.

All indications appear to be pointing to the Cavs taking Joel Embiid with their top pick, helping secure the frontcourt. LeBron would fit in perfectly back in Cleveland, but it likely won’t be instant success as it was in Miami with the team needing a year or two to gel with the future Hall of famer.

Although the future remains uncertain for LeBron, the fact of the matter is that he’s more than likely staying in Miami. The Heat may have been incredibly outmatched by the Spurs, but there may not be a better situation out there for the four-time NBA MVP. Cleveland will be intriguing and could give him a chance to redeem himself in Ohio, but it be nothing more than a dream scenario for owner Dan Gilbert.

I predict the Rockets will strike out on all major free agents and mid level players. They will resign Parsons though.

    -Pau Gasol
    -Jeff Adrien
    -Jordan Hill
    -Rodney Stuckey
-Jodie Meeks(if we can afford him)
    -Ramon Sessions
    -CJ Miles
    -Jason Smith
    -Thabo Sefolosha

Short list of younger Free Agents I want us to go after

If things were up to me considering the cap,

    Sessions/Cole
    Wade/Meeks or stuckey or sefolosha
    Lebron/CJ Miles/Beasley
    Bosh/Haslem/Hill
    Gasol/Smith/Oden

This lineup is all three of the big three take paycuts again, Rio and all the other vets either leave or retire.

Something along the lines of this...

Bosh is nothin but a glorified role player who waits for corner 3's like bruce bowen. The heat turned chris bosh into thunder dan marjele. They should let him bounce and be a 1a or 2 or allow him to be option #2 and bring D washed off the bench

As A Cavs Fan I would like this line up
    PG Kyrie Irving
SG Andrew wiggins or Jabari Parker
    SF Lebron James
    PF Kevin Love
    C Pau Gasol

We have the Money Everybody still might have 2
Take friendlier contracts but I think it can happen if Lebron
comes back Kyrie and love are already good friends
I think it can happen but that's wishful thinking as a cavs fan

Cosign your assignment of "Bosh Botch" to a Tee, but a lot of that falls on him too.

He has not logged in as much mins as Wade n LBJ because he was in Toronto so he shouldn't be "tired "n should of stepped his game up to take the number 2 spot from Wade.

It was there for the taken. Nobody scared of this dude when he is in the paint! Frail ass!

I can't see LeBron going back to play for Dan Gilbert after that letter and Gilbert saying he thinks LeBron quit in games 2-6 in that Boston series. Ain't like you just sweep something like that under the rug.

Lol. Anyways I think we get Melo or a couple good players then re-sign parsons after we unload asik/lin. If the warriors could get rid of the guys they got rid of last year we can unload lin. If we miss out on everybody I think parsons walks, Morey ain't gon accept our core being harden/D12/parsons thats not enough and we'll be maxed out cap wise
