My edges are super kinky, so they don't really slick down like a girl with a looser texture. If your hair is kinky like mine and you want a slick-edge look, spritz with water or some other water-based leave-in and tie a scarf on it overnight or for at least 15 mins before you step out. Works like a charm! Otherwise, just keep them moisturized and sealed with oil like the rest of your hair. And, super importantly, don't pull them too tightly in hairstyles!

I was LMAO'ing at an episode of Regular Show (okay, so clearly not an anime example, but ya get the picture) a few weeks ago in the living room and my mom came in and said cartoons are boring and turned the channel. What I do find irritating is the fact that you indeed like to pop off disrespectful at the mouth and then be buddybuddy when it suits your convenience. No ma'am. ~Fall is my favorite season. My wardrobe consists largely of dark colors, so I won't have too much to switch up in that regard. Love long sleeve shirts, cover ups, and thicker leggings. Hoodies are good as well. I'm considering some new lace up boots, too.
~Currently reading The Mask by Dean Koontz. A seemingly odd choice for me, but I got it for free and decided to give it a try. It's pretty good and the author writes well.
~Actually just did the ACV rinse last night whilst my hair was still twisted up. It's wonderful at removing product buildup and excess oils without totally stripping the hair as a sulfate-laden product would do. It's also good after a workout because it handles sweat well. I've found that it also decreases itchiness of the scalp. I ain't messed with a baking soda rinse in a long while, so I won't personally recommend it. Here's what you do for the apple cider vinegar rinse: Grab an empty water bottle and fill two thirds with water. Fill the remaining volume with the apple cider vinegar (or, conversely, use regular white vinegar as I've found it works just as effectively). Screw on the cap and shake the bottle well. Grab a knife and poke holes in the cap. Take the makeshift "shampoo bottle" into the shower with you and focus distributing it amongst your roots. Finger massage it into your scalp and rinse thoroughly. Scalp will proceed to feel like heaven. Love it!
