it made 7.2 this weekend I just saw...gotta do better
-
Not even showing at the good theaters in my area... smh
-
Next year its suppose to be in more theatres
-
It was good. I don't consider it a lol comedy but I actually did a few times, that jJFK joke was one of the jokes that had me lol'ing and saying woooow at the same time
Dude and his big girl love was funny as well. Lol and smh at him and gabby.....that ? was tripping.
My one issue same as with "I think I love my wife" was them scenes wherethis ? had a bad ? ready to ? and he finds the will power not even zeus could match. No heterosexual man gonna have Rosario "p.rock princess" Dawson en el baño ready to smash and not at least put the head in, GTFOH
+ I had to c that ? ass ? with the white boy(chris rock obviously reads @zombies posts) but a ? couldn't even get a ? from Rosario? Come on son. -

The white man is a natural ? , lol.
Ppl that saw the movie know what I mean. -
Its good.
I dare say its more social commentary of a fading star and how Hollywood pigeonhole black comedians with comedy in it. Than a straight up comedy film
Like some of the laughs maybe far & between.. but are worth it.
If some folks may not like it or didn't find it funny at all....I'll "get that"
Definitely not for the Tyler Perry fan base.
(Yes, I realize the irony of this statement considering that scene in the film......lol)
As it's thinking man humor for the socially & political conscious
This. A friend and I went and saw this last night.
There were literally 10 people in the theater, including us.
Out of the 10 2 were white.
The group of 4 girls walked out after the scene with Ced the entertainer.
The 2 white people walked out shortly after.
My friend and I discussed walking out but stuck it out.
The second half of the movie was way better than the first half.
My friend agreed too cause she really wanted to leave but was glad we stayed.
I do now wish I had waited til it got to the dollar movie tho lol -

Like someone else said, people were expecting a comedy and the movie wasn't a straight in your face comedy. It had plenty of funny parts to me though, at the same time I can see why those people walked out. -

I agree, seeing Ced, Tracy Morgan, and Kevin Hart gave off the wrong impression IMO.Right when Jerry Seinfeld started to name his top 5 I told said watch Wale be in it.

Yea it was a really good movie aside from being a pure comedy. it's a good story with some funny ass parts in teh movie more than a full out laugh all the way through type of movie.

i walked out of i think i love my wife also only because the theater was empty it was just me and a family in there i was slightly depressed and in my mind it was a movie for married dudes. i was like "damn this movie makes marriage look like a prison sentence." i bought the dvd a few years later and loved it. i think i'll watch it tomorrow. -

Yeah i walked out before kerry washington showed up. His wife was sort of ? and wasnt giving up the draws. I left before i saw the funny parts like chris getting stomped out by omar from the wire . His life seemed so boring i was 27 at the time and i was like is this what i have to look forward to? Picking out curtains with the wife eating cornish hens and working in a cubicle? Screw this i'm outta here! -
