Man this album is underwhelming as ? . The Vangards are GREAT but D'Angelo is incoherent as ? . "1,000" Deaths" is absolute trash but the last song is EXCELLENT. 6/10 because Vangards sound so damn good.
-

Got it last night gave it one listen then listened to Brown Sugar, Voodoo and Black Messiah back to back this morning...
I was talking about this with one of my friends earlier but I'll ask here too. Can we consider D' angelo one of the best artists of our time now with just 3 albums? -

I will say 1000 Deaths is probably my least favorite track because it seems more like an album intro than a track. And when D is on the track it is distorted and hard to hear him. But the production on the track still makes it hard to skip.... I didn't like the track the 1st listen but 2nd and 3rd it grew on me, still not calling it a bad track

Even tho its hard to compare 2 different genres... I would take D'Angelo's 3 discs to Biggie's 3 -
Biggie's 3?

smh pause at this ngga's album cover -
From the comments on here, it seems like most like Voodoo over Brown Sugar. I love both , but Brown Sugar gets more play from me.
