in their first and only meeting the blue jays new owner mark shapiro scolded anthopolous and his staff for trading so many top prospects this year lmao thats why its never smart to have a lame duck GM because whats to stop him from selling the farm -- if the ? works out, he is executive of the year and looks really good to where he heads to next but if it doesnt work out who cares as he was going to lose his job anyways
supposedly now people in toronto are mad that hes not returning but had this been last year nobody would have said anything -- the fact is toronto won the east in the one year that it was up for grabs all year and he spent a ton of prospect capital to get there -
