It's patronizing to hear people defend ? like this on the grounds of "I don't wanna see a black man go to jail." I wasn't aware Bobby Shmurda was out here fighting cops and promoting black unity? When did he become a role model? Can somone show me a source?
Rap is entertainment, but this guys was not just entertaining with his tales, but apparently still living them to a certain extent. If his lyrics are any proof of that, then the way he was living was not only detrimental to himself, but his family and community. Why defend that? You gotta understand the risks when you live that life. -

Plus with all the hiphop cops and gang unit here in nyc. They definitely aren't trying to see some young kids banging and talking about gun busting and catching bodies bout a week ago, then bragging about it. Plus with the speed at which he blew up, I feel nyc cops felt he represented all these wild kids. They can't have him flaunting this sht, they def aint trying to turn nyc into chicago. This is the second arrest in four months for Shmurda on weapons charges. TMZ reported in August 2014 that Shmurda had been arrested in Brooklyn for possession of a Glock handgun. According to documents in the case, Shmurda had been showing off the gun to friends when a cop saw it through the window. Then in October 2014, Shmurda was picked up by the NYPD for weed possession, TMZ reports. A friend told the gossip site at the time that Shmurda thought the cops were out to get him.

Cops don't really differentiate btw the two bro, my bro has never been about that life and he's been harassed by cops and everything. He was stopped and frisked 3 times within an hour, and he's a regular dude who works a 9 to 5.
