@S2J and @LPast are def not wrong. They might not be telling you what you want to hear, but that doesn't make the ? untrue. All that "personal choice" and "getting high for a reason" ? is nonsense. Those are rationalizations and mischaracterizations. Essentially the opposite of what one goes through when battling addiction. That's that self-centeredness or anti-social behavior @LPast is talking about. If that ? was a choice, if it was that simple, every addict in the world would just be like "? it, I'm good" and become a doctor or lawyer. Until you clean that ? up, and start to create new neuro-pathways, the reward system of your brain will not allow you to make logical choices.
You think there isn't doctor's and lawyers gettin high.... Talk about gullible.
And I'm no fool. There is truth in what you say. HOWEVER. Your talking about junkies and addicts.
How bout you educate yourself on the religious and spiritual uses of certain things like marijuana and peyote... among others.
