I hate it didn't work out, n this part of y I was against the division, he was pigeonholed when he n several others are more than that Imo, I wish he at least had a title reign

I agree with that ? holding those guys back

Its like 205 live is the ceiling for them and some of them are much better than that

Not a single soul other than Neville has been in WWE a full year. The cruiserweight division is less than a year old...

How are you "pigeon holed"? Only like four of them mfks is even over.

Austin Aries might have lingering injuries or he might be back on the same ? that got him fired from both ROH and TNA.

They were pigeonholed from jump, these fools see this as a ceiling for AA or Neville n it shouldn't b, Cedric can do more but do u think he actually will get a chance? how can u get over when u booked like trash or can barely show cruiserweight offense in a cruiserweight match, most of the matches while decent, show none of what's shown in the CC, Neville is an exception in that division (hence him deserving more). U could b right with AA being on bs, but talent wise my point still stands, he n Neville Should at least Still b tearing it up now

He wrestled Neville from March to JUNE. ? that's 3 MONTHS. He was only on the main roster and active for THREE MONTHS.

He should be world champion in 90 days?
    GTFOH

The ENTIRE division is still less than a YEAR OLD. What Crystal ball do you have that can tell you how folks will be positioned outside of the division?

? , Mustafa Ali does 1000 flips a week and HE'S NOT OVER. Cut the excuses. Jack Gallagher got over without doing any of that goofy ? . Tozawa got over, Neville got over, etc

Getting over is about connecting with the audience...period. All them cats have an opportunity. They have their own show plus time on RAW.

They're given promo time, they're matches are given time, what more do you want? Should they spoon feed people talent? ? its on the performer to get over whether he wins or loses or has a bad segment. Everybody has the same problem.

Everybody can't win every match. Somebody gotta lose.

Trying to appeal to the minority is bad business. WWE is Hollywood, this rest of this ? is Broadway...at best. If you a good on Broadway, that ? doesn't translate to movies all the time. Its two different mediums for two different audiences.

-- As reported earlier today, WWE and Austin Aries have parted ways, with the company granting the wrestler his release effective immediately.

-- According to sources, the actual release was already decided upon earlier in the week, but WWE usually announces contract terminations on Friday, which is why it was made public today.

-- A report from pwtorch.com confirms what was noted in the earlier post in that it was Aries who requested the release and reportedly the reason is that he didn't want to be typecast in a "cruiserweight" sort of role and being relegated to 205 Live only. The story goes on to suggest that Aries "saw a lot more for himself" and that he was unhappy and had a bad attitude backstage.

I liked aries. dude could go in the ring and his matches with neville were great. If wwe believed he had no place on their roster outside of the cruiserweight division, that's unfortunate

Cruiserweights like Neville and Gallagher can flourish outside of the division if given the opportunity. Miz vs Gallagher would be entertaining. It's better than seeing Ambrose vs Miz for the 10th time this year

I'd like to see Neville vs Balor, Rollins, Jeff, Cesaro etc. Cedric is dope too but Crews has more personality than that ?

Former CZW champion and ROH star Lio Rush announced during tonight's CZW event that he would make a final appearance for Combat Zone Wrestling on 8/5 against Joey Janella in Voorhees, NJ. The word going around backstage at CZW is that Rush was in Orlando earlier this week at the WWE Performance Center and has been offered an NXT deal.

Rush, 22, was originally trained at the MCW school in Baltimore (his first tag team partner was current NXT talent "Velveteen Dream" Patrick Clark) and was under contract to ROH from 2015-2017 before exiting the promotion.
