album feels like it's a work in progress. He has some fire production, lyrics are weak as usual. Ye is unpredictable, I'll give him that, which is good, I'll always give his albums a spin. Album is mediocre to me, maybe my feelings will change over time

It's a good album ., not great or wack just good and like others have said the production saves this jawn; a no-brainer with him being a producer
Problem is the calibre of artistes he draws his inspiration from these days; when he started he was liasing with them ? from Rawkus/Soulquarians/Ummah but now it's the trippy hipsters thus affecting his lyricism
He hasn't made a great record since MBDTF in my opinion and that was 6 years ago..
Basically the music (which made him famous) has taken a back seat and it's fashion now. This album launch was tied in with his last fashion show. Think about that. .. -

Ultralight beam.
Great opening with beautiful production and the gospel helps lift the track. 9/10
Father stretch my hands part 1.
Nice continuation of the female backing vocals, lovely beat. Kanyes verse is ? . 7/10
Part 2.
Like how the track immediately switches to this track. Kanye drops a better verse then future I mean the other guy drops an okay verse. Nice hard beat. Like how the track closes. 8/10
Famous.
Best track on the album. Kanyes verse pretty nice. The beat is fire and at 1.45 when it switches is 10/10. Like the little Ri Ri feature. 9/10
Feedback.
Strong production again but more towards traditional stuff than what has come earlier. Not bad lyrics. 8/10
Low lights.
Okay but will be a skipper. 5/10
Highlights.
I like how it switches from low to high but the weakest full track so far. First track I don't like on the production side. 6/10
Freestyle 4.
Much better beat after highlights. Like the flow over the track but not exactly great lyrics. 7/10.
