U gotta be bold as ? to perform ? Compton in Compton in the early 90's lls

NY ignorance. Probably thought it was just a lyrical beef not knowing the ? was taken very seriously. Same ? that got Biggie hit.

Shock G: "One time in the early nineties, Bronx rapper Tim Dog did a show in San Francisco and afterwards some Frisco cats had him boxed in and were threatening to hurt him up real bad. Had it not been for Pac, Tim may have gotten murdered that night. This was right after Tim Dog's West Coast diss album came out, but the album specifically dissed Compton and Southern Cali, and Pac felt like Frisco was ridin on Tim Dog unfairly and seized an opportunity to show Oaklands strength as well as show some loyalty to his birthplace, New York City. I think Pac had also kicked it with Tim Dog once or twice back in New York and felt more camaraderie with Tim than he did [with] anonymous Frisco *****z, and probably felt a little obligated to help him. It was in between Juice and Poetic Justice ; Pac was known, but not yet a superstar or heavyweight in the streets. Anyway, that night Pac told Tim and his people to wait inside and drove across the bay to Oakland and came back with an arsenal and escorted Tim safely out of the club and back to his hotel. They straight rescued that cat. Pac became a true heavyweight in the street that night."

    Pac was hiphops Superman.

Coming through the city with that nonsense back then was a bad move. Good thing Pac was there for him

Lmao don't you disintegrate my name saying I enjoyed this track. We had fun roasting this back in the day. Damn near had a classic thread when he hopped on dateline defending himself from scamming women with a greatest hits album lmao. Tim dog threads were hilarious

Lets also act like "? Wit Dre Day" dont exist...

Dre and Snoop said EVERYBODY'S name.

    OK, I'll play along.

? Compton came out in the summer of 1991. ? With Dre Day came out in December of 1992, about 18 months later.

So why does Dre get a pass for responding to Tim Dog 18 months later but Biggie was "shook" because he didn't respond to Hit Em Up within 90 days of its release?

If you can explain that then I'll admit that the West Coast won the beef against the entire East Coast. But your explanation has to make sense.

Different type of beef. Not even a beef really. More like a battle Tim Dog didn't personally know NWA and was just sending shots for publicity. I think he even approached some LA camps and admitted as much. That's why no one really took him serious. CMW was the only group to initially respond and they didn't even wanna rap on it, but DJ Slip put together a bunch of snippets of Dog dissing himself. lol. With Pac and Big it was very personal. There you go, now will you admit the west won? I'm waiting.

Biggie alot of people responded to Tim Dog. Including MC eiht. He said ? their city. It wasnt a personal attack on Dre's family like Pac did Biggie.

You realize Dre and Miche'le have a kid together right?

Tim Dog ? all over everybody and made an entire album dissing Dre, NWA, DJ Quik and Miche'le and it took Dre 18 months to respond but Biggie doesn't respond in 85 days and he's "shook".

    Ya'll are inconsistent.

I'm bumping this up because the Michel'le Skit and the DJ Quik Beatdown are hilarious.

Just think, what kind of person makes a skit beating down DJ Quik in between songs on their album?

I've read that incident in San Fran wasn't even over no east/west ? , it was over a girl. Tim or somebody in his entourage was talking somebodys girl, which didnt sit too well.
