She can create her own platform and still get her message out
Really.. Bill Simmons website ‘The Ringer’ is already on their third co-partnership to promote the sites content.. Plus his Boston sports propaganda show on HBO flopped hard as hell.. IMO.. I don’t think he’s the example you should be using to make that point...
@stringer bell
Yea he don't have that ESPN platform -
mike looked like his puppy died on sportscenter today
he clearly wasn’t into the show -
Jamelle did her part. We got to follow through and not support ESPN. Not that I pay for cable anyways. Firestick life for me.

That arenas show on complex has the potential to be GOAT especially if they have guest, no ? given
-

-
Agreed I don't watch espn anymore I actually just don't find value in opinion shows. jenelle been doing the right thing but sponsorship is a real issue...Mike understands this so somebody just needs to give her a new twitter without her gov name attached and she can just retweet from the espn account....or something like that #durantlife

So if your favorite team has a game on any of the espn networks, you don't watch?

Amazon fire, Kodi, and fast internet is all you need. You don't pay cable, get to watch ESPN but their ratings won't reflect it. Ha! -
.......and ur still watching an ESPN production. But as long as the ratings don’t reflect it right?? Lol -

? damn right. The point of a boycott is to hit a company bottom line which in ESPN case is ratings which affects advertising dollars. -
Not sure if this is common knowledge or not....but apparently this is Max Kellerman back in the 90s.

http://awfulannouncing.com/local-networks/this-week-hot-takes-phil-mushnick-jemele-hill-rap.html
http://nypost.com/2017/10/12/mlb-managers-earn-the-bullpen-happy-infamy-they-deserve/Phil Mushnick complains about Jemele Hill…inviting rappers as SC6 guests? The Hill section of the column started with some more standard takes that Hill should have been more loyal to her corporate bosses (problematic in its own right, but not necessarily a hot take), but then it got really weird. For some reason, Mushnick’s biggest criticism of Hill is that she invited rappers on her SC6 show.
Again, here we have unbalanced, highly selective social and racial activism and outrage, not a hint of objective fair-mindedness.
After all, we don’t recall her call to financially boycott teams that sign or retain players who have beaten women, abandon children born to “baby mamas” or tote illegal weapons, one in the chamber.
And she has indulged ESPN’s frequent “special guest” appearances of unspeakably and unprintably ? rappers who promote and cash in big on every heart-breaking, blood-spilling backwards stereotype of black America — especially rappers who have helped resuscitate the N-word while boasting of their sexual degradation of women as hit-the-road ? , ? and worse.
And though Trump tweet-raps his own undignified put-down garbage, how and why did Hill ignore how President Obama, father of two daughters, happily posed with and praised such repulsive lyricists and recording “artists,” accepting their endorsements and donations — no good questions asked?
Or was Obama a big fan of Jay Z’s and Snoop Dogg’s but ignorant of their lyrics?
