Scottie is a better playmaker, rebounder, defender, athlete and passer.. Scottie can play more positions and defend more positions. Scoring 25+ppg was somethin Scottie never was asked/had to do. All Around he's better than Wade...
Being a better All Around scorer =/= being a better All Around player, just a fact
IMO, there's enough of a gap between Wade's and Pippen's scoring ability to offset whatever else Pippen brings to the table. You're not giving Wade enough credit for his all around game. He has the most blocks ever for a guard, is a great passer and a great rebounder for his size. This is not some one dimensional player you're comparing Scottie to. After Jordan, Wade may be the best all around shooting guard ever. -

Nah you ? just overrate Wade, Wade has 0 (ZERO) All definsive 1st team selections to Scottie's 8 (EIGHT), Wade NEVER led the NBA in Steals, Scottie did once, Scottie has 3 All NBA 1st team selections to Wades 2 (TWO), Pippen kills Wade in Ast,Reb and Stl in career totals; but oh yea Wade has that 1 scoring title so literally everything else that Scottie does better than Wade doesn't matter, lets just forget the fact that Scottie played with a guy that scored over 30K career pts and had the ultimate green light to comand the ball whenever he wanted it for majority of Scottie's career... -

lol @ this ? . You're having to resort to Scottie's career totals because Wade's played 323 fewer games and hasnt even finished his career yet. Even just focusing on Scottie's 12 years as a Bull, he averaged 5.3 AST/6.7 REB/2.1 STL/0.9 BLK to Wade's 5.8 AST/4.8 REB/1.7 STL/0.9 BLK. You could give Scottie more credit for the assists he got since he was a SF and had to share the ball handling wealth MJ, but that's it.
Scottie making 1 single more 1st Team All-NBA than Wade means little. If Scottie played in the same era as Lebron or Bird like Wade did Kobe, he wouldnt have a single 1st team All-NBA. Wade had that green light cause he had that ability to take over as a scorer. Scottie had that chance for 2 years in the middle of his prime and couldnt do what Wade did for the majority of a 13 year career. -

You assume Scottie was the type of player that cared about gettin his own offense 1st when he wasnt, scoring 24-28ppg was never his style and Scottie led the Bulls his way instead of the MJ way and the Bulls in '94 still had pretty much the same success in the Reg season as they did in '93 but got blatantly screwed in the postseason...
Wade's scoring isn't that great that it overrides the versatility Scottie brings and everything else he does at an elite level over Wade...
And foh with that "if Scottie played in Bron era" bs to try and deflect the All NBA 1st teams Scottie has over Wade, that's the weakest strawman argument in the book -
Actually holding lack of 1st teams for Wade considering he played in the same era of Kobe is just downright foolish and a desperate attempt to give Scottie any kind of edge you can find.
-
Lmao ? hate Wade on this board. Pippen was nice but If teammates are factored Pippen had the greatest bball player ever on his team majority of his career to save him. ? clearly aint read lol. And as far as the respect factor, when Bron joined the Heat , Jordan, Magic and Bird said they wouldnt have called each other to team up. Goes to show you how the legends view Wade. ? dont hold Pippen to the same standard, ? wildin in here lol

Oscar RobertonsonHow is big o so overrated?

Scottie PippenLol sheesh wade losing this poll too?

Scottie PippenScottie is nice but he is the odd man out with this comparison.

Larry BirdBird had superhuman shooting, IQ and clutch abilities on offense...
But the question was regarding the worst All-Around player.
Which of these options is easily the weakest defensively? -

Larry Bird
I disagree, but you have an argument.
Definitely between him and Bird.
But Oscar is the better overall player in the other phases of the game.

Cause making 3 all defensive teams and having a top 10 defensive rating 6 times in his career makes him the weakest... -
Scottie Pippen

IMO Bird don't belong anywhere near this list and putting Wade and Pippen in his class is a reach. I don't think he was a great defensive player but he avg 10 boards a game for his career as a small forward ... Ain't too many cats did that. And his offensive skills was on a way notha level than DWade and Scottie. -

Big O averaged a Tripple Double as a Gaurd.
And for the second bolded, that shouldn't even have to be mentioned.
If we were talking "best players" this would be an entirely different conversation. Question was about "all around players", tho.
Pippen and D Wade were very complete players.
