Lordt, errrrbody in the city SHITTIN on Matt right now.

Surprised but not disappointed
4 years, 38 mill....21 mill guaranteed
-
Im surprised also but I like Alford for the most part, penalties just get frustrating. Alford has been playing better lately also. Hes always been good for some big plays every year and he gets ints.......
Question is gonna be what this means for Tru. If Alford got 38 mil, then Tru will probably want somewhere around 45 mil. Thats around $80+ million for 2 corners if the Falcons extend Tru next year. -

That is steep 4 2 corners but the front 7 is all draft picks, with the exception of a few vets. Pass-rush is there, LB core is solid except 4 Campbell. He's just going through his growing pains. We need a DT more than any other position on the team.
The offense just needs a RG
I can see TD doing that 5th year option with Tru. His injury and Alford's signing gives TD a little(not a lot) of leverage. That can give TD another year to decide if Collins is ready. He's looking legit right now. Definitely cheaper to roll with Alford, Collins and Poole.

Per Adam Schefter -
"Falcons optimistic WR Julio Jones, who didn't practice Weds, will be able to play vs Rams on Sunday, per source. Not as promising for Sanu."
#IM -
Idk about putting that much money into 2 corners but it ain't my money so ? it
-
I'm all 4 spending Tru's money on a top tier WLB, in his prime, and signing a 2nd tier DT for run defense.
Tru sat out during rookie contract. He won't be cheap. If he walks, we just have to roll with Collins. Draft a DT/RG in the 1st 2 rounds.
A lot of FAs next season. Don't need a lot of em if you ask me. Spend that bread on the front 7. -

Falcons suppose to have a bunch on money to spend next year. Draft should focus on defense again with maybe a G in the first 4 rounds. -
Mathews and Julio is questionable
Sanu is out -
Tough...
Gabriel
Hardy
Robinson
Weems
Need Coleman and Free to show out -
Nick Williams activated to the roster
-
It's going to have to be a run 1st offense the next couple of weeks

Vic getting off...... Took advantage of that matchup yesterday with some big plays. Falcons took care of business. I was actually worried about that game. Should win out but I have a feeling we might lose 1 of these last 3. Need the Bucs to lose 2.

Carolina the one that worries me I can see them trying to get us like we got them last year -

Quinn: Julio, Clayborn, Collins, Ishmael, Therezie, Williams, Freeney won't practice today. Freeney is out for non-injury related reason -
-
Hooper getting hurt was ? up but I'm glad these ? took care of business
-
Back to back 40 points without Julio
-
Hoopers injury was ? up, but they say its not long term. Campbell concussion too, gonna hate seeing Worrilow get a bunch of snaps. Hate going up to Carolina banged up. Need to win these last two and keep this 3rd spot in the playoff standing.
Havent heard a word about when Clayborn coming back. I think its been 4 weeks. -
Julio Jones will play against the Panthers this Saturday. They're also reinforcements coming for the defense too. Both Jalen Collins and Adrian Clayborn will play against the Panthers as well on Saturday.
Austin Hooper (knee) and DeVondre Campbell (concussion) are out this Saturday.
-
Julio wasn't passing up a chance to play the Panthers secondary
-
can i cheer for the aints today??? naw ? that, im going out.
