I been thinking about going to Walmart or somewhere and picking up a Star Wars figure and holding on to it. Y'all think that's a good investment potentially? I saw a Finn one at the dollar store the other day for 10 bucks. Didn't see what else they had

lmao stop it mate. you one of those folks that thinks something is old it must be worth something too?

tryin to buy toys in hopes that they'll become collectible and worth more money is an even bigger shot in the dark than buying stocks.

What's the harm in buying a 5-10 dollar toy with the possibility of seeing a large return in the future?

It's star wars, it's expected. This movie could be hot doo doo grits and bank more than its budget.

If it puts money in their pockets Hollywood doesn't care about equality, they are just concerned about alienating people who don't want to see people of other races and religions in movies. It's all about money for those Hollywood executives.

You disliked the way he turned out. You'd prefer that he were different. More aligned with what you feel in your head the character should have been in retrospect. That's what I'm saying. Not that you had any type of expectations going in.

My ? , you can try to misrepresent what I'm saying all you want. I'm not one of these dudes on here that was hoping Finn was the greatest character in the world just because he was black. I care more about the lore and general story than any single character. I had no expectations or hopes for him as a character. I just didn't like him. I don't care if they change him or not. I don't have to like every character to enjoy the story. I don't understand why you get to cape for him so hard and it's all good, but I have to be petty or have some silly underlying motivation because I didn't like him. I don't like goofy as characters in general, especially ones who really shouldn't be goofy by way of their backgrounds.

And now you're reaching because Finn didn't cheer after every shot he made in the movie so why are you talking about Westbrook hitting a shot of any kind?

There's nothing egregious about your opinion. I'm just saying that I disagree and telling you why. What you saw as needless excitement, I saw as personality & charisma.

He hit like three targets in the first flight scene and cheered and looked for recognition after every single one of them. He did the exact same thing in the MF flight and then went prancing around with Rey right after the second MF flight.

He was more composed later in the movie after he gained the resolve from wanting to rescue Rey, but that doesn't change how he behaved the whole first half of the movie. And we don't disagree. The goofy overly celebratory attitude was his personality. I didn't like it, and don't think it was fitting of a soldier who was presumably trained to be more composed than that. You think it's fine. We can agree to disagree. Neither of us is wrong.

there's no harm. the harm is expecting to see a return just because of the brand name.

besides, the majority SW toys that are collectible aren't worth enough to retire off of or crazy ? like that.

Yeah this ? is definitely 10x better than them ? prequels. But I would have The Force Awakens 4th behind the original Star Wars movies. I enjoyed it quite a bit and my kids had a great time watching it. Some parts in the movie had me SMH for a bit but not enough for me to ? and complain like other people seem to do about the movie. Can't wait for the other 2 just to see how it all pans out.

Try looking online too bruh. I don't know how much the Hot Toys figures will be its high quality. There is also the Figurearts figures but if you can find those get two then send me one of Kylo Ren. Get the 6 inch Black Series figures though if you go to Walmart. The 3.75 has terrible articulation and paint application. There are also BB-8, the new X-Wing and First Order Stormtrooper model kits.

Saw the movie for the second time today (and got ? at by my friend because I didn't read her spoiled ass mind and ask her to ? come with us). I am very interested in seeing Reys fine slime ass develop and seeing if she holds up to any of the predictions.

probably should let the story play out but from what i'm seeing, Finn is being set up to be the hero of the entire trilogy. To me it seems as though he was force sensitive and his awakening came in the beginning of the movie. He just didn't know what it was. There were other signs showing he was force sensitive in my opinion. He then spent the entire film running from what he thought was the first order, but really was the force. Rey on the otherhand heard of the legends and seemed to be more into it than Finn. His comments of being "nobody special" and working in sanitation and appearing to be comic relief may be even more of a bait and switch then him wielding the saber.

They still doing that Han Solo prequel in 2018? I hope not. Only side story I'd be interested in seeing is one about Boba Fett.

    Boba fett a little ?

Only movie I truly wanna see is one from the sith's POV

Idk which master and apprentice though...

They should show Sidious and his master or Vader and Sidious

some people think Snoke is actually Darth Plagueis which is Sidious' master...

    i think he is

Nah he looked disfigured. Probably somebody Luke ? up in between RotJ and TFA. The impression I got was that him and Luke have some history.

I thought Sidious killed Plagueis since the Sith apprentice is always supposed to eventually try to ? and replace the master.

IIRC, Darth Plaguies is disfigured from the Emperor's attempt at killing him. He looks pretty much like Snoke. I'm not saying that he is, but that quote from Andy Serkis wasn't exactly leaving out the possibility of him being the former sith lord. He says he's simply Snoke or something like that? EW goes on to say that wasn't a direct quote from the actor. Mabye he's just Snoke as in the Emperor was just Palpatine for the most part
