Yeah it was a Classic in my books, it had that classic Wu Tang sound to it. beat and lyrics where on point. more importantly the beats, i think all the wu tang members are talented Emcee's but their album relies on their beat selection. i mean i do have Tical 0: the prequel which is one of the weakest cd's ive got. and thats because of the ? production. where as cd's like No Said date and OB4CB 2 had tight production. -

Agreed. Although, it wouldn't be rated as one of my classics in my collection, it's definitely a solid 8-9/10.
Another underrated album:
Personal classic, it's never really mentioned on underground boards, which is really bizarre to me, after I played it for over 3 months on repeat.
I don't think many have found themselves at home like k-os did with this LP. From the music that he produced to the vocals that he dropped, it's a tough catalogue to choose from, but I think this is his best work to date. -

Great first choice, but what is the second release? I've not got that album...Philadelphia Freeway - Freeway
Decent album, possibly underrated, but Freeway isn't someone I'd rate up there like that...
These two tracks were 'bangers' though:
When Just Blaze was 'blazing', shame he got lost in his path in comparison to label mate Kanye. I had him above Kanye for a while. -

I have those, nice drops and welcome to the board.
I started reading "How to rap" last night, not because I want to learn, but because I heard about the interviews that were inside, it's a great book and O.C says something dope in it early on, I'll pull out the quote sometime. -
wu 8 diagrams, don't know why critics and fans and wu members for that matter hate this album

Interesting choice, I never checked it because of the hatred for the album. -
Have that and agree
These albums I was supposed to get a long time ago!!

Masta Killa "No Said Date" was actually the last album I purchaed but these two are truly underrated.

Not really given the X Clan album a proper listen, but Jamal's is definitely under-rated.
A great album, I just searched through the net to find out what he was up to now, but can't find anything. Just said that he produced on the Def Squad albums.
@ Trae, I own that Masta Killa album too, it's a great album, the title tracks beat was bangin'
That Mmm... Food album was my friends friends favourite album, she knew a lot of hip hop too so I respected her opinion on it, I gave it a listen, but I think it's one of those albums that needs more than one listen, I'll bump it later.
