allhiphop is kinda a joke to promote ur music in the main threads... thats the key... in the reason, ? aint gonna know you if u in this thread
So go to Roc Tha Mic. Whenever someone makes a thread promoting their music the threads gets no response or people free post in them, a thread like this is more structured. But I guess people will never be satisfied. -
Seriously read the rules. I do not want this thread turning into a youtube/link fest.
The rules are simple post your music and GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS. So going forward if I see cats posting music without giving feedback your post may be liable to get deleted consider this a warning. -

Miss jamacia has Never been a Artists and has Limited Knowledge On HipHop past her Top 5 which she was lead to by the mainstream media. Her Stanley Bias and Lack of Real HipHop Connection Makes her Twist things and Hate on what she is incapable of understanding. Ask her about local artists and Shows and you will here Crickests 1st, She is not HipHop and has zero Integrity. That Said Here is a Track From FTS a Indie Group I have extensive ties to...
This is from the Late 90's so forgive the dated sound they Broke up as A group in the early 2000's and all still do shows independantly. They have Worked With Killa Tay, E40, Yukmouth, Mac Dre and many other westcoast artists...

This thread is for artist and non artist to comment in. If an artist post his or her work, they also should comment on other work, if they post new stuff and YOU want to post music of your own then commenting makes this thread better. -

No offense but why are you putting up the music unedited? Also there is more to making good music than the message, it has to sound good sonically. If on Public Enemies Fight The Power Chuck D was flowing like Silk Tha Shocker that song would not have been a classic despite it's message. -
its over: 2012! wrote: »forces you to focus on the message only, that's all.
You know, treat it acapella-like...just like listeners were asked to do...
I get tired of asking folk over and over to please ignore all of the Pop Culture bells/whistles that our Great Jewish Brothers use to effect this hip-Pop trance America's stuck in, every time we hear a Black artist's audio...
on that note...are you going to, once again, absolutely refuse to question or comment on the message? And just ask me why I didn't link up the finished product, which is more inline with what our Great Jewish Brothers use for dictating this hip-Pop?
Because posting up a finished product is better. Would you hand in a rough draft of a paper to the teacher or would you hand in the finished product? -
its over: 2012! wrote: »oh the finished product, no doubt, but you didn't include one huge reality in asking that question;
if it's truly 'a teacher' then I wouldn't have to worry about them NOT focusing primarily on the message.
In this thread people will listen to your message. Its ironic you want people to listen to the message when the audio is so low and no one can understand what you said, well at least you posted the lyrics. -

That was New stuff From Boss Up Inc formerly GettinGreedy Records the Label I used to do A&R for I left due to Personally not feeling the direction they were going and I had some Family ? that made Move to Raleigh. I personally only rapped on 3 songs while with the label but did production on over 70 along with all my other duties. They are still the Homies and I glad to see they are still grinding 17 years into the game. The video right before that one was a Show with other former FTS Members and Yukmouth that happened in August Down the street aways... -

I go by the name of Malicious Jynx and im from Rhode Island, this is a new song i jus wrote and recorded called "In My Zone"
-
We need an IC mixtape just to have somethin to listen to
-
hhmm... Ayo im bring this idea to the other mods.... That would be soo dope. Hopefully we can get that poppin in time for the holidays.
that would be dope if ya'll can make it happen -
i think they actually got a mixtape based on da Legion Of Doom poppin off..
but itd be definitely cool if we could have another regular one poppin off as well..
as well as some site wide promo, and maybe even a post on live mixtapes or dat piff...
lawd knows i could use that lmao.... -
the way they did it they had like a few producers do some beats then rappers would make tracks to them and people would vote who did the best version on that beat and they would use that track
-
Damn. Much props on this thread for putting me on XV. He's dope as hell.
So to participate:
Non local, Show Tufli. He was a Charles Hamilton associated act. He's like him, but more poetic and less crazy/? .
I like his beat selection the most.
As for a local, Chiddy Bang.

this is atually dope. hook is dope as ? . i was hesitant at first cuz of autotune but it came together very well. DEFINITELY a good track for Radio. It actually came off sounding professional like u put money behind it. i liked it a lot.
Thanks alot for taking the time out to check the music out, and I appreciate the feedback, I know about the whole autotune ? but this kind of had a twist because of the topic of the song.
