Of course Ye is gonna outsell her, but I don't see it being by that much. Kanye usually has a hit single..at least Top 5 coinciding with his album releases. Last album he had a #1 and a #2 I think..and only did around 450k. This time around, none of his singles are hitting home. All Nicki's singles are doing better than his. I see her passing Gold status within 2 months.
Judging by the main pop releases from last year...
First week sales for albums released on 11/23/09:
1. Susan Boyle, "I Dreamed A Dream" - 669,000
2. Andrea Bocelli, "My Christmas" - 215,000
3. Adam Lambert, "For Your Entertainment" - 195,000
4. Lady Gaga, "Fame Monster" - 181,000
5. Rihanna, "Rated R" - 180,000
Gross sales in the month of December to the first week of January:
- "For Your Entertainment" (Adam Lambert) sold 370,000 copies.
- "Rated R" (Rihanna) sold 400,000 copies.
- "Fame Monster" (Lady Gaga) sold 450,000 copies.
So with Billboard's prediction based off 125,000 copies first, the album would look like it would sell 350,000 copies in its first month...but I think 125k is way too low so i'd say at least 400k...and again, passing Gold status within 2 months.

Either way, like i've been sayin... neither will probably come in at #1 is Susan Boyle keeps her release date the week before them.
Boyle will sell no doubt, but she ain't moving the same units as last year. She has a different buzz this year. Kanye will get the #1 will no issues. As far as single success, Most of the Time Kanye's 1st singles don't do that well. "Through the Wire" peaked at #15, "Diamonds" peaked at #43, "Can't Tell Me Nothing" peaked at #41. "Love Lockdown" was his most successful 1st single as he peaked at #2. KanYe normal sells off the strenth of his whole album not just the singles. This album, "Power" did ok, kinda like "Can't Tell Me Nothing". "Monster" was a posse cut that blazed urban radio though it didn't chart well. "Runaway" is already a Top 15 hit. Now KanYe does normally have a #1 single for each album, "Slow Jams, Gold Digger, Stronger" and "Love Lockdown was #2, Heartless was #3" .
So yes this album thus far hasn't created a Top 10 single yet but I think "Runaway" will break the top 10. Throw in the fact of the whole Taylor Swift incdient (Taylor is about to debut with 900k and 3 weeks later, Kanye album drops). The bottom line, Ye is a lock for well over 450k. I believe he can get above 500k so using the singles as a reason it won't sell as much didn't fly cause KanYe's 1st singles rarely do well and he still sells massive 1st week. As I posted, KanYe averages 677k per week. That means "MBDTF" is doing again over 450k for sure. Nicki will be lucky to get 200k, I'm sticking with my 150k perdiction. I agree with you though, Susan going to move units but when KanYe drops, she will be in her 3rd week so Ye is straight. She will have #1 for those 1st two weeks for sure, Top 3 in the 3rd week. -
