    I have this debate all the time with my cousin. Kills are more fun on gears. More gruesome (sp?). More vile.

    Uncharted is too clean cut. Not to say it's not fun, but it's not as violent as Gears 2.

    I get what you was saying,but Uncharted is not even inspired by Tomb Raider.It was inspired by movies like Indiana Jones.Tomb Raider was just Pit Fall in 3D if we go that route.No game is 100% original anyway.Halo is just Half Life,Gears is Contra and Forza is Gran Turismo.

    if you compare the gameplay of the two games it's close and the storylines are similiar....both looking for treasure and end up finding out some more ? they didnt know about....well if you mention gran turismo then that was insipred by any racing game lol

    True. True. But there is hardly any creativity out there. Seems like everyone prefers making shooters nowadays, especially FPS'. Even though Heavy Rain was unique, it was done before.

    Right....that's always been the deal same scenario different title.....racing games are racing games, shooting games are shooting games no matter what the title is only thing that's different now from what we was used to like 10 or 15 years ago is the graphics and online gaming

    Heavy rain is original.....it has been done before but by the same developer....so that original imo......otha than that I can think of anything else.......

    It's not a bad thing though. Vanquish and Tranformers: WFC is basically Gears re-loaded, but both were excellent games. Find a system that works and make a character or story that appeals to the buyer.
