This is why we'll always be at the bottom no matter what happens to us we always try to find a way to blame us for being mistreat instead of putting all our energy into the ones doing the mistreating.... You can't say Meek is being mistreated but in the same sentence brush that to the side and talk about how he should do better NO the ppl judging and sentencing him should do better why can't we just leave it there why do we HAVE to blame us when we the ones getting did wrong....... That man ain't did nothing worth 2-4 years in prison so why act like he did if he got a couple months ok we can do the "Meek needs to do better he got what he deserved" talk but 2-4 years??? Naw I'm not putting this on him this is 100% a corrupt system

? are at the bottom because of the people they surround themselves with. Wayne is surrounded by yes men who told him to re sign with birdman and keep letting him take lean and look hwere he is. Some of these young rap ? on social media posting photos of guns and money 24/7 then when they go to court baby mommas are taking half the bank a month because nobody taught them to move smarter.

Meek is no different. Sure the system was filled with a parole officer and judge that were jealous of meek rising up. And yes meek made mistakes as a young ? in the game. But at some point in the last 3 to 5 years someone or anyone should have told meek to dump the ? ? around meek. Someone should have told meek to not leave the state for nikis award show without asking is p.o. Someone should have told meek to get clean so he is not failing drug tests. Someone should have told meek when he was out of town in NYC to not give the hip hop cops a reason to make up false felony charges.

And lets keep it 100% The bigger issue is ? everyday in philly don't even get half the chances meek gets. The average ? in the system doesn't have a choice but to be in the streets because they don't have rap money. We have to be our brothers keeper while we fight the injustice in the system plain and simple. We have to check our mans when they are ? up their money like meek did.

i agree wit you but damn this is a ? grown man who has kids and still making stupid decision like hes a youth. I hope meek takes this time reflect that the ? in his circle don't really want to see him shine .

That's the problem you missing we shouldn't have to accept living under different rules were we HAVE to not give a reason to be targeted then when you get caught for being targeted it's your fault you were targeted... That's a defeated slave "listen to your master" thought process that we accept.... I'll never subscribe to that thought process whether we are wrongfully killed or wrongfully imprisoned I'll always have a problem with it and will never blame anybody for being victimized by a corrupt system becuz you should accept your gonna be mistreated so act right.... ? that y'all can keep that slave thought process

It's not about "listen to your master" but about listening to ? common sense. Yes the system is ? up and so is the outrageous jail time meek got. That needs to be change. But when you can't even admit meek ? up a little and meek had ? around him that should have expected better of him is a part of the problem.

Part of the issues in our community is the fact that us black men is we have elders and fathers that want us to move right period. We shouldn't be on the gram snitching on ourselves. We shouldn't have people around us that want to do dumb ? in the club. We must continue to fight (and vote) to make change. See ? wanna be mad at the judge but how many ? voted that judge in or the councilman/woman that nominated her?

Every time this ? ? happens everyone want's to say things need to change. But our culture hip hop and black culture does not change. If we don't change and we don't vote and we don't stand up like previous generations did much better we are going to be stuck in the same ? .

"Tacopina already told the strange tale of Brinkley demanding Meek remake the Boys II Men song "On Bended Knee" and include a shout out to her. Meek thought she was joking, but she made it clear she wasn't when he refused."

"When she requests he leaves his current management Roc Nation -- which is one of the most important management companies in the world -- and goes back to a local Philadelphia guy who has a spotted past because she had a personal relationship with him as manager," he said, "She's doing something that a judge would never be doing, having a personal interest."

That ? is crazy and is using her power to ? with Meek. It sounds like she has a personal vendetta against him.

    Let's look at sum facts

    1. The ? that got into the fight with Meek admitted he swung first just becuz he didn't know what was gonna happen after he ain't get his autograph from Meek

    2. He got pulled over 24 hours later becuz of a wheelie he did a full day B4

    3. Both cases were dropped and dismissed

    4. It's known fact the Judge and PO hate Meek and look to treat him worse and target him

Y'all gonna sit here and say off those facts Meek should do better and getting 2 years is what he gets for these things??? I'm all for ? doing the crime and getting the time but you gotta have a real slave mentality or just hate Meek to try and put this type of sentence on him

    Your logic is borderline ?

No one is saying he deserves the sentence..we are saying he needs to smarten up and he has no one to blame but himself for getting himself in all this ? in the first place

? if ppl are saying that's what he gets that's saying he deserves what he gets.... If you don't get that logic you might be the ? one

Thats not what is being said at all....man some of yall got bricks for brains

You stay in some ? regardless if its a failed drug test or riding dirt bikes on the streets and u on probation doing the dumb ? ...then you gotta look in the mirror and take responsibility

Sounds like yall just want to point the finger at everyone else and not understand..meek as a man decides his own actions...so this was all bound to happen because dude being reckless and immature

Y'all saying Meek didn't something wrong and sweeping the corrupt system under the rug is the issue... Instead of saying "yea meek made a mistake but this system is the issue and needs to be reformed and this judge and PO need to be looked into etc" y'all saying " yea the system messed up but Meek knows the so he should play by messed up system rules if he wanna stay free becuz if he don't then it's on him"

It's sad we as black ppl to see the problem with thinking like the and how they basically have us programed to always find the fault in us even when they the ones at fault smh

? more concerned with highlighting the person being targeted over the system doing the targeting just becuz "we know the system messed up" wtf well instead of concerning on Meek doing a wheelie or fighting a ? that swung on him first how bout you be more concerned with highlighting that ? system..... But we won't do that becuz we prefer to worry about how we didn't listen to our slave master rules

Meek didnt help his situation what part of that do you not understand? What part of that is slave master rules? He ? up knowing he still a target but YOU overlooking that. We want meek to move smarter and make better decisions, but did he do that? No so there's nothing else to it that's already been said.

Man you can go back and forth all you want but yes you are missing the point..... Meek made sum mistake but his mistake don't warrent the punishment so his mistake shouldn't be what's highlighted and the fact that that's what you wanna highlight instead of the actual bigger problem tells me you are completely missing the point.... But you seem to really want the last word so I'ma let you cook lol

I can say I have earned every bit of time I've served and more. But I can't say Meek deserves a 2-4 year sentence for the ? he's done. Not when sex offenders walk away with less time. I get that once you're in their system it is smart to follow their rules. I get that. But 2-4? And some of y'all think he earned that? Cold world.

    Nothing to analyze there.
