LONG LIVE ZIMMERMAN!! Martin initiated the physical contact! All he had to simply ask what was going on and that he was on his way to his dad's girlfriends house. But instead Martin wanted to be a badass and started ATTACKING Zimmerman. Martin wasn't the little boy portrayed in his pictures like the media and the great Al Sharpton want you to believe. You you all were in the same position as Zimmerman, I can assure you, you would have defended yourselves by whatever means as well. But see, the black community would rather play the victim. You don't think Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson aren't making money off of all this? They thrive on this stuff because donations come pouring in. Ask Al Sharpton why he isn't paying for all the hotels he has been staying in?? Stiffing the hotels with unpaid bills. No one has mentioned about the eight prior burglaries in this gated community in 15 months that were ALL committed by young black men, or the fact that Zimmerman assisted in the arrest of a young black man burglarizing one of his neighbors. Zimmerman had every right to be there, far more than Martin. Zimmerman was licensed to carry a firearm. He didn't brandish it either. Funny how the black community hasn't said one word about the BLACK EYEWITNESSES who witnessed the confrontation stating that Martin initiated the initial contact and attacked Zimmerman. These very same black eyewitnesses also claim Martin was on top of Zimmerman pounding his head into the cement and have verified that it was indeed Zimmerman yelling, not Martin. But media "experts" like keeping the tension flying by saying otherwise. The black community isn't supporting these black eyewitnesses and these very same people fear coming forward for fear of attack from their own people. Let me ask this, is someone was beating your head into the cement, you wouldn't shoot? Get real!

April 10 - George Zimmerman's lawyers withdraw from case Say they have lost contact with him
SANFORD, Fla. — Two attorneys for the Florida neighborhood watch volunteer who fatally shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin said Tuesday that they have withdrawn as his counsel because they have lost contact with him and he is taking actions related to the case without consulting them.
Attorney Craig Sonner and Hal Uhrig said at a news conference they haven't heard from George Zimmerman since Sunday. They said that against their advice, Zimmerman contacted the special prosecutor who will decide if he should face charges. A spokeswoman for Angela Corey's office didn't immediately respond to an email and two phone calls.
Zimmerman says he shot Martin in self-defense after following the teenager in a Sanford, a gated community outside Orlando. He said after he followed Martin for a time, he was returning to his truck when the teen attacked him. He shot the unarmed teen to death during the altercation.
Attorney Hal Uhrig said that his legal team is still concerned about Zimmerman, who he said is "not doing well emotionally" and may be suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
The lack of an arrest has led to protests across the nation and spurred a debate about race and the laws of self-defense. Zimmerman's father is white and his mother is Hispanic.
Craig Sonner, the first attorney Zimmerman contacted, said he agreed to take the case on a pro bono basis until Zimmerman is perhaps charged.
Sonner said he has never talked to Zimmerman face-to-face and that the 28-year-old man has gone into hiding but that he believes he's still in the U.S. Both attorneys said they'd be willing to represent him again if he asks.
Ben Crump, an attorney for Martin's family, said they're concerned that Zimmerman could be a flight risk if he is charged with a crime since his now-former attorneys don't know how to contact him.
"At this point, we're just concerned that nobody knows where he is at. Nobody knows how to get to him," Crump said.

George Zimmerman to be charged in Trayvon Martin shooting, official says
lorida special prosecutor Angela Corey plans to announce as early as Wednesday afternoon that she is charging neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, according to a law enforcement official close to the investigation.
It was not immediately clear what charge Zimmerman will face.
Martin, 17 and unarmed, was shot and killed Feb. 26 by Zimmerman, who said he was acting in self-defense. Police in Sanford, Fla., where the shooting took place, did not charge Zimmerman, citing the state’s “stand your ground” law.
Corey told reporters Tuesday night that she would hold a news conference about the case within 72 hours. A news release from her office said the event will be held in Sanford or Jacksonville, Fla.
Benjamin Crump, who is representing the Martin family, said this week that Corey’s office had asked where Trayvon’s parents would be each day this week. They arrived Wednesday in Washington for a civil rights conference organized by the Rev. Al Sharpton, where they are scheduled to speak.
The announcement of a charge against Zimmerman would come a day after Zimmerman’s attorneys withdrew from the case, citing their inability to contact Zimmerman.
Lawyers Craig Sonner and Hal Uhrig on Tuesday expressed concern about Zimmerman’s emotional and physical well-being, saying he has taken actions without consulting them. They also said they do not know where Zimmerman is.
“You can stop looking in Florida,” Uhrig told reporters. “Look much further away than that.”
Corey said Monday that she would not bring the case before a grand jury, which was expected to convene this week. She said her decision to forgo the grand jury should not be viewed as a factor in determining whether charges will be filed.
Corey has indicated in recent weeks that she might not need a grand jury to bring charges against Zimmerman.
The lawyers said they stand by their assertions that Zimmerman acted in self-defense when he killed the 17-year-old, who was unarmed, but they acknowledged that they formed their impressions without meeting Zimmerman. -

Forty four days after Florida cops failed to arrest George Zimmerman for killing an unarmed black teenager — sparking a national civil rights crusade — state officials took him into custody Wednesday.
Zimmerman has been charged with second degree murder in Trayvon Martin’s death, The Associated Press reported.
Special prosecutor Angela Corey planned a 6 p.m. news conference in Jacksonville, Fla.
Officials in Sanford, where police have insisted they could not charge Zimmerman, planned to speak after that.
Zimmerman had claimed self defense in the Feb. 26 killing of the unarmed black 17-year-old under Florida’s controversial stand-your-ground law, which allows anyone who feels threatened to use deadly force.
The authors of the law have said it should not apply to Zimmerman because he actively pursued Trayvon.
News of the looming charges broke while Trayvon’s parents and their lawyer were speaking to activists at Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network in Washington, D.C.
“We cannot confirm that. We have no knowledge of that,” Sharpton said. “We haven’t been reading our emails while we’ve been talking. We’re polite.”
Trayvon’s parents said they fear Zimmerman is on the lam.
“We are concerned that he’s a flight risk. We are concerned that he will never be brought to justice,” said Ben Crump, lawyer for the parents.
On Tuesday, Zimmerman’s two attorneys held an extraordinary news conference to announce they were quitting because they had no idea where their client was.
They said he had gone rogue, setting up a website to solicit donations and speaking with the Martin special prosecutor and Fox News personality Sean Hannity — all without informing his lawyers.
The attorneys said Zimmerman was still in the United States, somewhere “very far” from Florida, but admitted they had had no contact with him since Sunday.
“From day one, there was enough evidence to arrest George Zimmerman for killing Trayvon Martin,” Crump said.
“We’re not talking about a conviction. All we’re asking for is an arrest. Zimmerman will have his day in court and Trayvon’s family will have their day in court. That’s all we’ve been asking for.”
Attorney General Eric Holder also addressed the group, promising a thorough review of Martin’s killing for a possible hate crime prosecution.
“If we find evidence of a potential federal criminal civil rights crime, we will take appropriate action,” Holder, the nation’s first black attorney general, told the NAN activists.
Martin was carrying a bag of Skittles back from the store in an Orlando-area gated community Feb. 26 when Zimmerman, 28, a self-appointed neighborhood watchman, shot him to death.
Zimmerman said the teenager jumped him. He also claimed self-defense under Florida’s stand-your-ground law. Police let him go.
In the subsequent furor, witnesses to the scuffle that have come forward differed sharply over who attacked who.
The spread of stand-your-ground laws became a major target of the activists, who questioned whether the black shooter of a white victim would be allowed to walk free so easily.
“I want to see the first black man who uses the ‘stand your ground’ defense and see if it works,” said Harvard law professor Charles Ogletree.
