Black americans are the indigenous americans. The transatlantic slave trade is nothing more than a fictional tale conjured up by europeans in an effort to decieve the original americans out of their homeland. Why would europeans go 4000miles to africa instead of using the people they'd just conquered? Why would africans use people as currency when their land is so rich in copper, silver, gold, & diamonds? What did they gain from the alleged trade? Use common sense & examine the artifacts

ignorance, native americams died from european sicknesses also them being aware of the terrain made them a poor slave population. Africans sold slaves because people have always sold slaves and their concept of race was not the same as it was today ALSO many of the so called africans who were really into the trade i.e selling , were mixed race people.

One thing a lot of people don't know is that not all so called black people came over here on slave ships. That's not saying we don't all come from Africa it's just a simple fact.

you had black civilizations in the Mississippi valley, ancient Mexico (Olmecs)

Asians crossed the Bering Strait into Alaska about 25,000 years ago, The Olmec are the first civilization of Mesoamerica. Their civilization existed from 1400 BCE to 100 BCE.

It has always been a black presence in America in some form or another. I'm not denying the slave trade but it has been over exaggerated to instill a mentality. Dr. Ivan Van Sertima wrote a great book on this years ago called they came before Columbus.

Yeah it does. Black people are in chains, but instead of trying to free ourselves we concern ourselves with superficial ? like gold, diamonds, cars and clothes ? like that. We're either to dumb to realize we're in chains or our spirit is so broken that we try to cope through vanity. This is what I got out of it at least.

it has overlapping meanings and can be taken several ways.

you can call it pseudo science and we can agree to disagree.

but we can agree that many black people fought for basic human rights, we can agree that racial profiling exists/or existed at one point in some form or fashion, we can also agree that politically black people have been marginalized (hence all the excitement in 08 when Obama ran) so we can all say that this thing called racism affected black people in more than just one way.

so why would history be void of that racist element? is history immune to the influence of black racism? I know it's not but if you think it is I disagree with you.

No knock to the mods but why don't these racial threads get moved to R & R where they belong? Is it because these threads tend to do numbers? What's grown & sexy about these type of threads (n/h)?

People talk about what black Americans need to do, but speak as if they forgot we went through 200+ years of slavery on top of living in a country that has everything against us...the line that we would have to walk is to narrow for the human eye...we would have to live 2 generations mistake free....human beings make mistakes....There will be another generation or so before things start looking up and the self hate will start to go down
