vsIn The Commision, you ask for permission to hit em
He don't like me, him and wild wifey was wit em
You heard of us, the murderers, most shady
Been on the low lately, the feds hate me
The son of *Satan*, they say my killin's too blatant
You hesitatin, I'm in your mama crib waitin
Duct tapin, your fam destiny
lays in my hands, gat lays in my waist
Francis, M to the iz-H phenominal
Gun rest under your vest by the abdominal
Rhyme a few bars so I can buy a few cars
And I kick a few flows so I can ? a few hoes
Excellence is my presence, never tense
Never hesitant, leave a ? bent real quick
Real sick, brawl nights, I perform like Mike
Anyone -- Tyson, Jordan, Jackson
action, pack guns, ridiculous
And I'm, quick to bust, if my ends you touch
Kids or girl you touch, in this world I clutch
Two auto-matoes, used to call me fatso
Now you call me Castro, my rap flows
militant, y'all ? ain't killin ?
Ooops Cristal keep spillin ? , you overdid it homes
You in the danger zone, you shouldn't be alone
Hold hands and say it like me
The most shady, Frankie baby, fantastic
Graphic, tryin to make dough, like Jurassic
Park did quick to spark kids who start ?
See me, only me
The Underboss of this holocaust
Truly yours, Frank White
orWatch Casino, I'm the hip-hop version
Of Nicky Tarantino, ask Nino, he know
Green with envy, the green tempts me
To make the rich the enemy and take their cheese
Take their spots, take their keys, make my faculty
Live happily ever after in laughter
Never seen Cristal pour faster
And to those ? , knuckleheads squeeze lead
Three of mine dead, nuttin' left to do
But tear they ass to shreds, leave 'em in bloodshed
Incidents like this, I take trips
Lay up in Miami with Tamika and Tammy
Some Creole C-O ? I met on tour
Push a peach Legend Coupe, gold teeth galore
Told me, meet 'em in the future, later, they'll take me shoppin'
Buy me lavender and fuschia Gators
Introduce me to playa haters and heavy weighters
Rich ? , ? , drinkin' Cristal til they ? the ?
Thorough ? , adapt to any borough ?
Be in spots where they were no ? , you feel me
Reminisce on dead friends too
You're nobody til somebody kills you

Notorious B.I.G.Soloman the Wise wrote: »Undergroundraplegend wrote: »Soloman the Wise wrote: »this thread shows how easily Kats is Brainwashed and compartmentalized here, so many so out of touch with reality do not see the truth of it all. But this is a accurate depiction of where the state of Hiphop is currently...LOST... Comparing Pac to Biggie is like Comparing Bob Marley to Shaggy both had hits and did Reggae but the lanes are way different and their impact on the musical culture polar opposites. That is why as far as commercial Reggae You see more Shaggy style/content artists getting spins same as in HipHop You see more Biggie Style/content artists because those are the easier to replicate archetypes then the Likes Of Marley, Pac, Jimi or Marvin...
Please stop we dont need no more stans in here.
No disrespect though just sayin.
Wow a lot homotions over this subject but the track records literally prove it Biggie and Shaggy charting hits all share the majority of having the poppy R&B crossover market in their makeup. While the catlaogs of Both Marley and Pac while sharing the commonality of being immense also have a number of hit songs that did not follow the crossover archetype and the same can be said for Hendrix and Marvin. All these artists made hit records off of songs that those handling the marketing thought would not make it because they did not follow the hit formula and the songs still blew up. Maybe before kats cast aspersions they should actually evaluate what has been said but then the irony of how quick stans will do anything in their power to turn off the light when real points are made is nothing new here...
This is exactly why I banned ya super ? ? ass. -

No we're saying that by the technical aspects you judge a rapper in. Biggie is superior to Pac. Not considering influence blah blah blah
Who ever thinks lyricism is objective...log off now
OK and what are the technical aspects then cuz all I'm seeing is bar for bar talk... Is that what qualifies as technical aspects when judging a rapper or is that more technical aspects for judging a lyricist because the two aren't the same...If the question is simple who's the better lyricist even as a PAC fan I can give that to BIG but is being a better lyricist and being a better RAPPER the same thing??? I don't think so or everybody who picks their goat would pick the greatest lyricists of all time which never happens
Being a lyricists is just one part of being a rapper. Besides, that. You have the complexity of rhyme structure. Pacs rhyme schemes were pretty elementary when compared to Big
Here is an example. Look at the internal rhyme scheme structure in BIG's verse
I make yo' mouthpiece obese like Della Reese
When I release, you loose teeth like Lil' Cease
Same song now this time he rhymes two syllables at a time while employing internal rhymes
I'm flamin gats, aimin at, these ?
mani-acs, put my name in raps, what part the
game is that
check out tupac's rhyme stucture
I bet you got it twisted you don't know who to trust
So many playa hating ? tryin to sound like us
Say they ready for the funk, but I don't think they knowin
Straight to the depths of hell is where those cowards goin
Pretty basic rhyme schemes. I'm not saying pac didn't employ complex rhyme schemes or big never rhymed simple but this pretty much what did on average. I picked two random songs
so a ? posted a simple Pac rhyme to discredit dude?
yall quite ? riding dead rappers.
Both were great at what they did and there will never be a clear answer to this question.
People often pick Changes as a top 2pac song so why yall mad?
Regardless, that verse you posted is still a simple compared to Bigs we can go verse for verse if you want to. Pac for the most part, used simple rhyme structure this is a well known fact. Nothing wrong with it. He just wasn't a technician on the mic
From a rap stand poin. what he mighta lacked in multies and rhyme schemes he more than made up for with a wider range of subject matter than Big
I dont see how Pac lacked multis his multis werent on some AZ ? but still neither are alot of rappers(Including Big.)
and rhyme schemes he used some of those but He seemed more on the ABBA system then ABAB.
The bold is an excellent point man. I have seen him do that style of rhyming. -
Tupac Shakur^^^^ Dont know how they here forget this.
-
Tupac ShakurPac was an excellent writer. Big was too I just prefer Pac.
-
Tupac ShakurYou can argue both that one was better then the other in lyrics .Big had the punchlines Pac wasnt about using but pac had the substance and content.
-
Tupac ShakurPAC for the catallogue and his all around style.
Big for the flow -
Notorious B.I.G.Not even close BIG is the better emcee/rapper Pac a great artist but Big has better flow and delivery.
you cant really say BIG has a better delivery.
My chick hates BIGs delivery but loves Pacs.
cant say flow either
both subjective -
Tupac ShakurSome of the stuff that's the most powerful isn't the most witty but Pac had that ability as well. I can list tons of quotables from Pac that are deep and they aren't overly complex.
It makes me think back to that Cube line "You can keep your catchy lines
I'm 'bout to write a rhyme".
And I'm not saying Big was all catchy lines just saying that punch lines and one liners don't qualify as being the better rapper. -

Notorious B.I.G.Not even close BIG is the better emcee/rapper Pac a great artist but Big has better flow and delivery.
Yep -
Notorious B.I.G.wayne is a better rapper than pac...thats why that thread wud be funny
-
Tupac Shakurlol @ all the emotions these 2pac vs BIG threads always get. I love both as rappers. ? in here saying BIG was wack need to stop it. Nas is the only emcee who can probably out rhyme BIG. Multis don't mean ? unless you know how to use them, and The Notorious B.I.G will lyrically murder your favorite rapper.
And ? saying 2pac was wack shouldn't even have their opinion taking seriously. 2pac has influenced more rappers than Rakim did in the 1990's and will continue to do so. Me Against The World, All Eyez On Me, and Makaveli are ? classics. Y'all ? just can't give both the respect they deserve. I do understand where Tommy is coming from. If 2pac was charged with ? my mother, I'd be upset at the man too.
@icecoldstew close this thread. these ? can't discuss two of the goats without getting emotional. -
Notorious B.I.G.Pac raps about way more diverse ? than Wayne and BIG put together,
BIG and Wayne both rap about the same ? so they would be better than Pac and Wayne. -
Tupac ShakurWth there are tons of people who can out rhyme BIG not just Nas. Pac has rhymes that outdo Bigs. Neither of these two were all that great in lyrics u ? just suck on biggies dead ass ? to much.
-
Tupac ShakurI meant verses that out do BIGs on the Pac one.
