When did it become acceptable in hip hop to wife-up strippers and smuts?

It feels like there's been a turning point somewhere along the line in hip hop, where the hangout went from chill spots to wherever smuts were. And where chillin' at the club became chillin' at the strip club.
And it seems like it's not only become acceptable, but the norm to rap about being in the strip club and putting rings on the fingers of strippers' and around-the-way-hoes; and wifing them up became some kind of norm.
When did this happen? Was this always around and i'm the only one who noticed this trend in recent years, or was there a turning point in hip hop where this type of behaviour became a status symbol alongside having a bentley and wearing European designer clothes?

I'm talking in terms of it being the be-all, end-all of their image, the way it is now. -

I think it started to become cool when Superhead wrote that book. She went from industry hoe to household name.
After that being a hoe for celebrities made you famous. Ever since then we see video hoes and other entertainment types doing "sextapes", writing tell all books for money (and fame).
Once the woman becomes famous she becomes an object of desire, no longer just a hoe to pass around. It became cool to be seen in connection with her regardless of what she was famous for.
Anyone remember Paris Hilton doing rap videos not too long after her sextape was released? Superhead being in a "relationship" with Wayne? Amber Rose, Kim Kardashian?
Being linked with a famous hoe keeps a ? name in the papers and gives him access to the scandalous lifestyle that interests mainstream America. -
When it got cool to talk about eating ? .

Personally (and I'm clearly in the minority in this opinion) I think that hip hop is built on a spirit of doing whatever the ? you wanna do. But that's just me. If ? wanna wife hoe's, that's their business.

Nobody can add some more after that post imo -
I kind of see @sully's point. It's like these ? pick from the groupie pool or some ? .
I, personally, wouldn't even be thinking about marriage / kids at that status but the least a wealthy ? could do is find a ? on his level / better. Instead ? pass around these nothing-ass drama-? 's. -
Because some men want the trophy on his arm, they want other men to ? after their woman.

I think with some of this social media like twitter and IG some of these chicks kinda get boosted up to at least hood celebrity status and that's what some of these ? see them as instead of glorified groupies and strippers
Kanye and Tyga the only ones I can think that actually wifed and had babies with them tho
Couldn't be me -
When gangsta rap started dying
around that time I'd say -
It would be dope if a womans looks changed depending on her level of ratchetness. This would bring the numbers down.
Damn those sexy ratchet women. Damn them all! -
Not sure when it started but the way things are today, it should be unacceptable to wife a ? of any kind. all of these hoes aint ? no matter their occupation or background
