Because in the US that wouldn't make sense. Blacks have had a longer struggle over time like ? . Jews weren't always hated as they were during the time before and after the Holocaust.
Outside the US is were that comparison works best were people get killed for being ? or even be suspected to be ? and being jailed and killed. -

no ? ... none of those comparisons make sense... but u will not here the struggle of ? compared to anything other than the black struggle... actually, comparing them to Jews is a better comparison, but whatever... -

Compare it to any kind of struggle that involved discrimination and hatred.
I just cannot fathom the fact that black people were hated and discriminated to the point that their rights were worthless, that they think the rights of homosexuals are nothing they should care about.
To me, that's baffling.
How can you feel that your rights were violated at one point, and some feel still are, but not give one ? about another's?
Granted, we haven't seen homosexuals targeted like blacks once were; enslaved, ? , murdered and tortured. That's not my point. (Although, to some extent they are picked on and murdered for their lifestyle.)
I just think that anyone who is discriminated against, you should understand that they deserve the same equal rights as all people have.
I know you don't see it that way, though. It's tunnel vision IMO. -

Its a matter of right struggles. Jews at the end of the day are whites mainly. In the us they might as well have been just regular as whites in the 50s, 60s, 70s.
But your right the the struggles of different races, sexual identities and homosexuality dont really mix. The lines dont blur really too much. Its a matter of if your a mix of things like ? , black, and male were it probably feels like a constant struggle for the simple things everyone who isn't like you gets.

As for the "why do they not compare it to the Jewish whatever.."
Compare it to whatever you'd like that involved hatred and discrimination against ones rights for no reason.
I think the main reason everything compares to black rights is simply because it happened right here, it was what your grandparents and great grandparents experienced. It's more close to home and easy to compare to?
I dunno... Doesn't matter anyways -

I don't understand why folks can't see that either.
Still don't care about dude being a "civil rights" lawyer though. We see now he doesn't understand the concept. -

But you guys can get married, in any state or country.
Can ? ?
No, not yet.
Have you seen Westboro Baptist Church say "? hates blacks" "blacks burn in hell" ?
All I'm saying is that I don't see how people aren't more sympathetic to their rights.
You don't have to agree with how they live at all, just understand their rights are as important as anyone else's. Color, culture, sexuality.. All that ? doesn't dictate how people should be treated. ? is way petty.
smh
