Despite the loss of James Rodriguezand possibly Radamel Falcao this summer, Monaco are determined to show Europe they still mean business. And Gazzetta dello Sport have them down as making an sensational move for Zenit St Petersburg forward Hulk in an attempt to appease fans. However, Hulk is said to be happy in Russia with the appointment of Andre Villas Boas and it would take an offer in excess of 50 million euros for the Russian club to accept

50mil for Hulk would make David Luiz look like a bargain...

According to A Bola, the British press have been reporting that Chelsea are set to make a 33 million euro bid for Sporting Lisbon's William Carvalho. However, a little research and any rumours about a bid from the Blues are at least a month old now.

According to Bild, Werder Bremen have offered four million euros for Fulham'sBryan Ruiz. The 28-year-old Costa Rica captain has turned down offers from Besiktas, who were prepared to splash out six million euros, as he wants to join the Bundesliga side. Bild quotes Magath as saying: "He could leave us in the next days."

Giroud was y'all leading goal scorer the past 2 seasons. Cut homie some slack.

You guys do need a striker. I still laugh at the fact that Giroud thinks that they don't need another striker.

    Yeah.

    Sanchez

    Ox/Cazorla Özil Walcott

    Ramsey Wilshere/Arteta

If a striker isn't signed. Probably won't see this often unless it's really successful. With Giroud, Campbell, Podolski and Sanogo in the squad, I can't see Wenger going with Sanchez or Walcott as forwards all that much.

0-0 results away from home are not good... Makes 2nd leg harder especially w no Ramsey and maybe Arteta too...
We'll have Özil tho and a better pitch

The Germans will be back. With the depth at midfield I'm not too worried.

Just can't concede, simple as that.
