Forrest hills has no replay value in my opinion.

Tetsuo and youth is a much better project, has like 3 skippable tracks though in my opinion.

F&l2 the only skippable track for me was " how dare you" damn that song was so ASS.

    Respect your opinion!

Interesting parallel between Nas and Lupe:

First two albums from both are classics (Illmatic/It Was Written - Food & Liquor/The Cool)
    Next two albums are mediocre disappointments (I Am.../Nastradamus - Lasers/Food & Liquor 2)
5th album straight fire comeback (Stillmatic - Tetsuo & Youth)

I just thought about this and wanted to share. Thoughts?

Sounds about right. Lupe is this generation's Nas in a sense. Their careers seemingly followed the same path except Nas's attempt at mainstream appeal was bit more acceptable (although 2 different times in the music industry)

One could say Lupe's yearly public feud with Atlantic was his "Jay-Z beef" moment.
Crazy considering The Cool was somewhat inspired by It Was Written.

I literally find myself with a different song stuck in my mind at different points during the day. ? crazy.

Forget about how lyrical it is and the story the album tells, just as a whole package, the lyrics production his flows the hooks the message the feel of the album, is dope. Its a genuine 5/5 classic to me.

When I first heard that, that ? warmed and shook my soul, something that music hasn't done in a long time. I'm one of those ? that really engage myself in music, to the point where tears just fall for no reason. Or I catch the holy ghost Lol. Its been a minute since music touched my spirit like that, and I gotta say this album is knocking of the cobwebs.

Man am I the only one who still is having trouble trying to find a way to listen to this album? The lyrics are so complex to listen to but when I try, the production is so amazing, and then I have to focus on the "feel" smh I don't think I will fully grasp the concepts of each record till the 80th listen. I just find key words now, but I'm still lost. For example the third verse on that Maji record I still haven't noticed it yet, I'm still trying to understand wtf the person is saying on the hook. But then I'm amazed at the sounds....

I'm trying to avoid rap genius or other deciphers Lol.
