I'm on the fence about the writing with that...let them fall out over Ghost setting up Kanan back in the day but not a ? who was working with the Feds to try to put Ghost behind bars
he could've killed her, he sent her away...the problem is what ? And that was enough to risk your man life, who just got a life sentence snatched from over your head and made it real hard for the Feds to come back at you

I like the show, I follow it, but this ? is not in league with The Wire. It's not even ? close.
For instance, Tommy's puppy runs away and haphazardly catches Holly in the park, who has all the evidence she needs to turn Tommy on Ghost right there with her? Get the ? out of here.
This ? is too simple and too contrived to be compared to The Wire. The plot devices are more reminiscent of a daytime soap.

I'm not saying The Wire is perfect, but this show isn't even close to being on that level. They aren't even the same type of shows.
Maybe you didn't really pay attention to The Wire, but that series of events where Omar ? himself up making that leap--literally left him on his last leg, and put him in a position to be shot by Kenard. Rarely was there instant payoffs on the wire using cliched plot devices like the one I described in Power.
Also, The Wire was a masterpiece. That's why it's heralded such by critics and fans alike.
I'm not saying Power isn't compelling or entertaining, but it's not that caliber of show.

Yea, so that we can enjoy Power lets keep the Wire out of this.
Otherwise we have to point out Power's warts like 1) Tommy so quickly getting out of jail. Even,tho he reason makes sense a deeper show at least kees him locked up for a full episode, 2) Ghost needs to 'hit his mark' like he work at a telemarketing company, 3) No way Kanan would be that dumb enough to trust Tommy into that set up. 4) The dreaded death monologue. I HATE this. When main characters are about to get popped so they make the would be killer give a speech that ends in his life being spared. How is it sparred? Last n most important, my favorite:

The reason Lobos wanted Tommy dead was he knew they were getting close to arrested Tommy.
