Straight out the dungeon.
I mean chambers. -
I remember buying Cuban Linx part 2 and being slightly disappointed. I don't think I've ever listened to it all the way through.
Whats the word on that Wu-Massacre album? Is that worth copping?
Wu Massacre was more disappointing, CL2 is overrated as ? but it was aight -
in his new yawk accent
" de wile" -
at least he was still drawn fat.
-
The problem with CL2 is that it was too long. The first half was everything people expected it to be, but as it went on, a lot of those joints could have been left off. I think it ended up having like 22 tracks right. Had it been 16 instead, I think the album would have held up better.

I thought the lp was dope, it lived up to the name

Exactly what i thought of when i saw this.
Album cover is dope though. I love Comic Influenced album art like Sean Price or CZARFACE -

What's wrong with your ears man? Cuban Linx 2 was the 2nd best album of his career. -
Raekwon had the best album of the year in 2009

only carrying mics? that's the only similarity?
I think them both being drawn cartoon style would be a bigger similarity -
OB4CL2 is ? fire....close classic imo....only track I didn't like was the track Dr Dre did
-

Ya'll probably don't remember Part 1 when it came out. That was the hottest album from the hottest group at the time.
Can't say the same for part 2 -
Don't get me wrong. I like CL2. It's a dope album, but it falls far short of OB4CL. That in itself is not bad because it's a high standard, but I feel like there is something that could have been done to make it even better.DarthRozay wrote: »The Lonious Monk wrote: »What the ? ? lol What? They both gave the covers to artists to create. Of course they will be cartoon style. That's not at all uncommon for covers. And the art style isn't similar at all. If that's the biggest similarity IMO, then ya'll are reaching more than I thought -
It was a suitable follow up as a sequel... arguably the best HipHop album of that year
-
Why it look like a comic book cover
-
Raekwon Ft Ghostface Killer - "Shark ? (Biters)"
Yeah!
Whoa bad enough they biting lines like ? killed me
Yeah
When they came with some Nas, ? bit off of Nas ? !
KnowhatI'msayin?
[chuckling]
Word ? ? ? ? caught his little album cover move
and then they got wise to that ?
Yeah -

not claiming it was the hottest album from the hottest group at the time, or that it's Raekwon's best work, or that it's a classic (last one, i suppose, comes down to how many classics we think are out there). but was it a great album? hell yes.
