"Morality" is a subjective concept. There's no objective definition. A KKK member thought it was immoral to let a non-white man touch a white woman. Who are you to dictate your personal morality to anyone?
There are religions who think eating meat is a terrible sin. Would you be OK with them stigmatizing people who got Mad Cow Disease from eating a steak because they acted "immorally"?
That's why I never touched the issue of morality. I only spoke about the science. And the science says that it's not accurate to paint herpes infections as worse than say, Epstein-Barr infections (another virus 90% of the population carries) simply because of how it's gotten. -

I've read that as many as like 1 in 4 Americans have HSV2. Basically means look to your left, right, front, then behind you and chances are at least one person you just looked at has it.
As much unprotected sex that goes on especially in the Black community chances are you've already messed with someone with the virus and possibly contracted it yourself. A lot of people are asymptomatic carriers anyway meaning they exhibit no symptoms, but they can still transmit the virus. Condoms don't necessarily protect you from everything either.
I've also read that as many as 70% of sexually active adults will be infected with HPV at some point in their lives as well. HPV, which can cause some forms of cancer in women. Hepatitis, which can cause liver damage and death and ? which is the virus that can lead to AIDS are much more serious viral STDs than herpes.
No way you cats are having sex with dozens of partners and not being exposed to some of these diseases Usher was foul but these women should take some responsibility for their actions. -

Uh, herpes can be contracted by skin on skin contact even wearing a condom. In other words if your ? slapping her ? or ass then you can get it. It can also be received if a girl gives you head. And if I"m reading this information on the net correctly, most people don't even know they have it cause there aren't any signs like Doc said, then even with that 1 out of 6 people have it as far as diagnosis, so that number might actually be 1 out of 4 considering those never getting checked being included. -

Judging by pure mathematical odds most of the posters here in the IC have it...but of course looking through this thread you'd think this was the only population on Earth untouched by herpes viruses.
And I say "viruses" because it's a family. A family that includes ? like the Zoster virus that causes shingles. HSV stigma is a purely manufactured social panic. 90% of the people that have it show no signs or symptoms. It's literally only dangerous if you're immunosupressed or if you have an outbreak during pregnancy. Gonorrhea and chlamydia are a 100 times more destructive yet not treated with near this same amount of fear.
Acne is a perfect analogue: it's an often painful skin disease caused by the overgrowth of a microbe (Propionibacterium acnes) in hair follicles, it's prevalence in young people is near 90% and we just accept it as a given that everyone at some point had it:
