If boston acquires a rebounding/solid rim protecting big at any point before the '18 trade deadline they're my pick to win the east.

Not tryin to watch the cavs get washed again. What you think the warriors gonna do wit that walking shooting chair out there?

If we could figure out a way to get Robin Lopez they need to go ahead and do that

Baynes(the only thing about this crackas career I remember is blake dunking on him multiple times in the playoffs) but he has good per 36 rebounding #'s so I'll wait & see on him but horford and the lesser morris twin aren't good rebounders.Horford rebounding declined every year for the last 5 years. That's still an issue and they lost one of their best rebounders in avery

Boston don't really have tradeable salaries so a 3 team trade would probably have to happen but lopez would be a good look(as long as the opponents don't go small) cuz he can offensive rebound & rim protect.Lopez averaged 5 offensive rebounds vs the c's in the playoffs.

Do it acquire somebody.I don't wanna see the cavs in the finals again they'll get washed worse than last year.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/pistonpowered.com/2017/04/25/aron-baynes-season-review-grade-detroit-pistons/amp/

It was articles like this that made me a fan of the signing, if he can just be an upgrade over Amir I'll be happy with that, but grabbing Lopez would be a slam dunk he would fit right into the system too but I can only see them doing something small like Kosta Koufos or some ?

look at this soft ass ? flaggin me cuz i told him the truth about his boo. Im a kyrie fan myself bruh but they the same player and yall got taken get over it. Offensively gifted but play no d, yall celtics aint goin nowhere unless bron allows it. accept it. You lost bradley, crowder, all the Defensive dudes that were the heart and soul of yall runs. We'll see Oct 17 opening night Boston at the Q. Lets not forget either kyrie was frequently injured prior to last year too with his knees and ankles.

Not one fact in that whole titangraph, a 20 year old Kyrie on a rebuilding roster vs a 25 year old on a team built to win with one of the best coaches in the business are two different things, Kyrie and IT are not the same player that's not a fact, IT was our best player but only Crowder was drafted in the 2nd round, AB, Smart, KO, Amir, Sully, Rozier, Jaylen, and Horford another all star all first round picks so no he didn't lead a bunch of 2nd round picks to the playoffs that's not a fact, Boston sacrificed "all its defense" that's a load of ? not fact, and all that other ? you typed is a bunch of ? that "could" happen but hasn't yet so those aren't facts, and you like to leave out IT getting exposed 3 years in a row in the playoffs, Jeff Teague outplayed him, the majority will tell you if Rondo didn't get hurt we would of lost, that first year I can't remember if Kyrie exposed IT to be honest all I know is Crowder couldnt cover Bron never could, Jaylen already showed he can do it a lot better than Crowder ever could

Would u have admitted this b4 the trade. I doubt it

I said the majority I didn't say me, he def got exposed those first two games though, we did make adjustments but Rondo wasn't there so who knows, with Hayward we're not as inept offensively so before IT got traded I was expecting Brad to use him off the bench in situations like that, that was our only way we were going to take another step if Brad starting putting him back in a 6th man role more often not full time

Young kyrie was not leading that garbage to the playoffs.

But he wasn't even leading this teams to Ws when LBJ was out.

? act like it wasn't a reason Kyrie, Waiters, Tristan and Bennett all got drafted within the top 5. The Cavs were trash.

Y'all gotta stop pulling that playoff card because it doesn't hold any weight.

I've watched more Kyrie then anybody in here....I literally haven't missed a game...Like I always say 26 game losing streak and all...

He's a closer....he's Mr. 4th Quarter...but the kid is not built to carry teams to victory if he's the best player on your team...his offense game is multifaceted but in some ways he's a one trick pony in that he's a scorer...kyrie getting to play his game, is not running a offense or facilitating, it's coming down the court and scoring before anybody else touches it ...the wins for Boston will have to come from there highly touted coach because the numbers don't lie if Lebron wasn't out there we had slim chance of winning...his win percentage without Lebron can't be over 30%, I don't even have to check.

He's going to need a superstar to play with if they ever want to get out the second round...And I don't view Gordon Hayward as a superstar...like I said i'd be impressed if there anything higher then a 4th seed...based off everyone's opinion of what Boston "should" do this year...Jaylen Brown and Tatum are going to have to average 15 pts a piece this season...

I'd argue it would be due to the fact the team was built around LeBron strengths not Kyrie's.

The Heat were avg when he sat out.

Lebron does so much when he sits its noticeable. It's hard to replicate his value and production.
    He's the definition of consistent
But I do agree Kyrie isn't a number 1 option on a championship team.

Kyrie has a valid excuse early in his career, but Imo he still has yet to show he could consistently play winning ball as a leader, I think we can all agree with that

everyone that says boston wont this trade. yall seem to forget kyrie ran his own team for 2-3 years and them ? aint even sniff the playoffs. He aint taste the playoffs til bron came through. IT LED a squad of second round draft picks to the playoffs and each year further into them to the conf finals. Kyrie gon regret it when hes ousted in the 1st round year after year. They are essentially the same player except IT gets to the FT line more. plus yall forget IT averaged 29 a game last year and was the leader in the nba in 4th q points. Plus yall forgetting kyrie is a shoot first guard and boston sacrificed all its defense to get hayward and kyrie. Yall fools sayin they set up to go to the finals the next few years....only if bron goes out west next year. Not only that if they want cavs can flip that BK pick with another player for someone like DMC if they choose. Cavs are set up for the present and the future, in the words of shaq STOP IT!! lets not forget the rumors that d wade is getting bought out at some point this season and looking to join the cavs. so we talking.... IT, rose, calderon at 1, Smith, shump, korver and possibly wade down the line at 2. bron crowder, RJ, jeff green at the 3. thompson, love and frye at the 4/5 plus they could go small and have bron play 4 like they did in miami. If you telling me that squad isnt set up to go back to the finals your kidding yourself.

U just said muthaFUCK periods and paragraphs huh?

lol my bad bruh i gotta type all proper all day at work i dont be wantin to do that ? at home. to the other dude i appreciate the actual insightful retort unlike homie who has the attention span of a 2 year old to read some ? and has 2 misspellings in his damn name but wants to police ? grammer. but like dude said yall wasnt saying that when he was killin ? for yall. and i dont wanna hear about how kyrie couldnt lead bums to at least the playoffs cuz look who the ? lebron took that first year the cavs went. larry hughes?? come on. oh yeah and sorry but they were facts..

"Isaiah Thomas has become one of the biggest stories in the first half of the 2016-17 season, largely due to his fourth quarter heroics. He’s leading the NBA by averaging 10.1 points per game in the game’s final frame, a number that has helped put him in the mix to be an Eastern Conference All-Star starter next month."

    28.9 ppg
    Isaiah Thomas
    2016-17 Regular Season

    2016-17
    Kyrie Irving
    Ppg
    25.2

and for the record kyrie had a higher ball handing usage rate than lebron last season and got the play drawn up for him for the clutch shot in game 7 with the chip on the line. so i dont get his argument of wantin to be the man on a team really. ? grammar dont try to play me on the stats i know my ? .

    Irving, Kyrie CLE
    usage %30.7

    James, LeBron CLE
    usage %29.8
