that was a good year. i went into the air force in 96 and remember damn near buying all those cds once i got out of basic training on the same day. my favs were reasonable doubt/hell on earth/ironman/illadelph half life. i remember mad skillz dropping from where/smooth da hustler/too short number 10 coming out also

Ironman. I remember taking trips OT blasting that. Hell on Earth due to P actually ? on Pac badly, while all the other ? folded. AEOM. Favorite double album of all time. RD. First time I heard Bring it On, I was getting my haircut in Flatbush. Then Regrets. Bought the album the same day. Ridiculous year.

I feel you, i think if Jay fell off after Vol. 1, then RD wouldn't be the classic that people claim to be. But it's still a great album nonetheless. RD isn't better than Legal Drug Money and Hell On Earth imo, even if it is, it's by a very slim margin. -

that said the killuminati the 7 day theory was easily the best album
that year the second best album was soul on ice by ras kass. -
A lesser known remix of Can't Knock The Hustle, only found on certain pressings of the album...I wish it was on the copy that i have, lol.
The Soul Controller was removed from later pressings to sample clearance issues, for those that copped Ironman after that song was removed...
