List is boring. Cats are scared to be honest. Jay, Big, Pac, Nas are NOT everybody's Top 5 favorite rapper. Too many of these dudes feel like they wrong if that's not who they place in they Top 5 though

First time I ever heard a Compton California rapper put Emenim on a list over Ice Cube or Snoop.
Surprising.
Man, he use to have Joe Budden and Jadakiss in his top five. Snoop has always used ghostwriters and that is not a secret to anybody. Problem (rapper from Compton), Bad Lucc (rapper from Watts) DOC and others currently write for Snoop and have been more open about doing so and TDE as a whole knows all of those guys. Once that illusion is takenaway from you, Snoop drops in everyone's eyes (I know he did for me) and I have said it a ton of times, Ice Cube had the issue with TDE where he was afraid of Jay Rock being there at Paid Dues after those comments Ice Cube made for him. Then there is the situation where Ice Cube had with Glasses Malone where he was afraid of Glasses and it takes Ice Cube's mystique away. Then there is the fact Cube has stole a lot of music in his career, but you can not publicly say that. Once you find out these things it diminishes Ice Cube in some eyes (I know it did mine) every time I bring these things up about Cube people give my posts negative responses because it ruins their fantasy of who he is, Snoop also.
Glasses still looks up to Cube because of his impact on him and Kendrick still likes Snoop, but those things do impact your opinion on them. -

Every list is the politically correct list. Tupac/Biggie then JayZ/Nas and then add the token white rapper.
But then in interviews these dudes always slip and say they grew up listening to the regional artist that were cracking while they grew up....I like to hear something different every once in a while.
