It's his list, but no matter who he listed, there would still be disagreement. If he excluded Biggie, Nas, Pac, or Jay from the list, people would've definitely said something about leaving them off. If he includes someone that's not on a "typical" top 5 like Andre 3K, people would still argue he listed him out of obligation. If he lists Wayne, Eminem, Kanye, Drake, then he's called out for being too mainstream. If he lists Pharaohe Monch, Talib Kweli, Common, or Black Thought, he'd be called out for being too "underground". Point being, rappers put themselves in a lose lose situation by listing a Top 5.
