I think Obama is doing a great job all things considered. He'll need more than 1 term to fix the mess Bush made. All that ? in the media is just propaganda and fear mongering. Facts don't lie, unemployment has decreased and APR of houses has gone up. I expect things to pick up in 3-5 years. ? like this takes time and bird ass impatient ? don't get it.

Nah. We need new policies. No one from either side are talking about reforming the big three for us to KEEP more money in our paychecks to influx in the economy. We need real tax reform. Lower the rates broaden the base and close the loop holes.temporary tax breaks that last two years wont work. We need to back our dollar up with something, because government fiat currency based on debt is unsustainable. That would lower the cost of food and gas, and we would have more even more money to spend. Those type of policies would create demand for goods and as demand increases companies will hire to match the demand with supply. We just cant tax tax tax or cut cut cut our way to prosperity. Hiring public workers is just transfering tax dollars from one sector or the economy to the other. It doesnt create new wealth. The fed needs to be reigned in as well. They have been regulating interest rates to low for too long that encourage banks to give loans to people who cant really afford them. bring back the glass-steagall act. the deficit will take care it self if more people are working and paying taxes.

Someone who knows Obama better than most are willing to understand says: Obama hidden agenda will be exposed in this second term - just like that open mic moment w/ the Russia talking about he'll have more leeway during his second term - huh? well read this below. (if you dare) keep in mind the unknown - Obama knows nothing about being transparent

Now Kurtz reveals new evidence that the administration’s talk about helping the middle class is essentially a smoke screen. Behind the scenes, plans are under way for a serious push toward wealth redistribution, with the suburban middle class—not the so-called one percent—bearing the brunt of it.

Heyslick is either a ? or a troll. Lots of straw man usage and just tap dancing around posts offering nothing of value. In the words of Heyslick, YEAH!

This is what I don't understand!!!! He ridicules Obama's ideas and my personal ideas but doesn't even have a ? plan of his own, what the ? ?????!!! It's almost as if he's talking for the sake of talking. He hates Obama's endless spending and has a good point, but he doesn't want to raise taxes on the rich to create new revenue. He doesn't have ANY ideas of his own lol so he basically is just as lost as any other politician right now SMH DAMN! I rarely lose my cool but he done did it

Poor little fellas can't stand the truth - you insist on me laying out some kind of game plan - WTF? I've told you and others I work on a very simple principle....it doesn't take a lot of smarts to understand what incompetence means & some folks have a aura about themselves. -- IMO President Obama is an egotistical maniac --- hes obsessed with his own ideology and direction for America - HE'S GOT TO GO! --- I'll do what I said long ago if he wins? - I'll leave this site PERMANTELY!!! btw (THE BOLDED) I'VE NEVER said any such thing & you'll never be able to prove-it.

Obama might have an obsession with his direction for America, but um, doesn't every President have that? I dislike many of Obama's policies but I at least I have ideas to fix the economy, you just keep repeating yourself over and over again. What would YOU do differently? You never say what LOL

It's not up to me - I've expressed my opinions and disdain for this man and his radical ideology. If those who support Obama really believe this is the right direction for America?then Obama will win & the decline/transformation of America will begin all over again - this President WILL DESTROY AMERICA - & the fear of criticizing this man's policies will not longer exist - I still believe this election is rigged & Eric Holder is doing everything possible to make sure of that - dontcha just love HIS Department of injustice!! ?...LMAO!!

Man you still have no ideas yourself to fix the economy lol. Either way, I'm disappointed in Obama and Romney's ideas to fix the economy. What makes you think Romney will be any better than Obama? Romney has no serious plan to help, he obviously favors the rich at the expense of the poor and seems gung ? for another war, this is a recipe for disaster.

I hear you but lowering the tax burden will hurt the deficit and revenues. In my opinion, the middle class and wealthy should both be paying higher taxes, only because we have to take care of the debt some way. We can create new jobs though here in America by reigning in the military spending and instead investing in the AMerican people. The Fed should also be reigned in and stop treating the dollar as a used tissue box, that I agree with and we should back up the dollar with something, we gotta try something new. But keeping it real, we will never back up the dollar with something in this greedy, selfish political landscape we live in. Too many bankers who need that cash, at the expense of our children's and grandchildren's future.

Why not legalize medical marijuana, and create some more jobs and revenues as MANY states want to do nationwide, without fear and persecution from the federal govt? Obama can do an executive order on medical marijuana right now, but instead, sucks the ? dry off the pharmaceutical companies who want marijuana illegal for fear of cheaper competition. Obama might be doing an okay/barely passing job as president overall but GREAT? I don't know about that brah HAHAHA

You're obsessed with legalizing marijuana - that will never generate the revenue U envision. IMO it will harm more than it helps, especially the youth. This country needs NEW LEADERSHIP Unfortunately it won't happen anytime soon - America is doomed & guess who caused it - YELP mister community organizer! & that will be his legacy. YEAH! insult the small business people who are the heart of america & scare others with talk of changing people up - wow! GREAT LEADERSHIP! don't forget about those folks in the suburbs - Obama is coming for you folks next & your tax revenues (redistribution) BTW hes been talking about spreading the wealth around like forever.

Here's someones opinion who I agree with 100% -- just how well off are you compared to those in other countries - & what kind of country do you really wanna live in?

The heartless accusation is commonly directed at non-socialist. I disagree with your premise.

It is the socialists who are heartless, unknowingly. Let me explain. Both sides of the political spectrum want the same things. It is just that one side believed government can allocate resources more effectively, and the other side believes if you give people more freedom in economics this will exponentially make everyone better off.

Simply compare the Old East Germany to the old West Germany. North Korea to South Korea.

Now if you are talking about food stamps. No one is saying to rip the rug from under the hungry. There are better ways to cut government out of the market. Even the most radical libertarians like Milton Friedman argue that in a just society we should help the poor. However, perhaps something like a negative income tax might be more effcient or the promotion of private food banks. In my town there are many large food banks where the poor can get food. I do not see any starving Americans, only fat ones. Really, I moved back from Europe and many of the poor are not skinny like their Eastern Europeans poor counterparts but are over feed.

This America is a rich country and if you are poor here in the USA, you are like super rich elsewhere. I know I lived elsewhere.

Further, food stamps are generally run more at the state level although the Federal government helps. This is not an Obama thing, but a state service more which is a small fraction of the federal government.

In my state many of the Poor get these food debit cards, but no one is saying take them away.

What we are saying is create an environment so they will not need them because they have been empowered by a real free market job that gives them self-respect and dignity that we all want including me. The poor do not want handouts they want a job. And the private sector creates jobs. Obama hurts job creation. He does not know he does but he does, and has no bad intentions, but he does hurt job creation in a big way.

I never said legalize marijuana altogether (although I would love that), I said we should legalize medical marijuana on the federal level. How do you know how much revenue medical marijuana will generate? There are businesses that sell medical marijuana (when the ? federal govt is not persecuting them) that are making tons of money and are creating thousands of jobs nationwide. We need the money and it won't harm the youth, as I said, I want MEDICAL MARIJUANA legalized, since YOU don't have ANY plans to improve the economy. If marijuana itself is taxed and legalized for recreational use, what's the big ? deal? It's healthier than alcohol and cigarettes.

As far as Obama, you're no better than him since you don't have any way to fix the economy yourself, you just complain but have nothing new to offer.

When I say those comments, I say it out of disappointment in the extreme cases of evil Whites have committed on a global scale, it's not something I like to talk about. But when it is necessary, it has to be talked about, so White folk learn about what they have done to prevent future generations of making the same mistakes. The same mistakes that have hurt America's past, present and future. ANyway, I never said white people are the biggest of Black peoples' problems.....

nah stop that. what does government dependency and wealth distribution have to do with color? Its been tried by both parties for both sides of the economic spectrum. Through bail outs for the banks corporations and through artificial keynesian stimulus spending. How did it work out? Nothing changed accept the banks and corporations want the government to bail them out when they are in trouble now, and the poor, working poor, and a large part of the middle class keep applying and demanding more social programs, when at minimal, these programs are suppose to be a small safety net.

wealth distribution and government dependency, no matter what party tries it, is radical ideology.

But when it is necessary, it has to be talked about, so White folk learn about what they have done to prevent future generations of making the same mistakes. The same mistakes that have hurt America's past, present and future. ANyway, I never said white people are the biggest of Black peoples' problems.....

I never implied U did - I did however say that white people are the least of black peoples problems - OH btw I did notice how you just avoided that topic of black on black crime...NOW there's an topic that so many avoid and love to do so by any means necessary - YELP those terrible white people are the real present threat/danger to black peoples - HELL even Americas vice president insinuates that black people are on the verge of being chained-up. - WOW! fear mongering @ its finest via the White House - YEAH scare them old folks while your at it with threats of being shoved off some cliff.

Oh my ? lol I have plenty of times said Black on Black crime is a problem, in many threads what is your point? That is why I said White people are not the main problem in Black peoples' lives now, it's personal responsibility and making better choices. Of course, we can't just ignore the impact 300 years of slavery has had on African-Americans, it did some serious mental damage to future generations, along with the social and poverty issues Blacks are dealing with in many cases. All these things are factors, it's not a cut and dry issue.

As far as Joe Biden's comments, he was making a point in that Republicans want to see Americans fend for themselves in a Darwinian universe by cutting SS and all kinds of benefits while giving the rich another 5 trillion dollar tax cut. Biden's remarks probably didn't sound politically correct, but I get what he was trying to say. The word "chains" maybe shouldn't have been used lol considering how many Blacks were in the audience at the time.

Obama doing a GREAT job? Rly? Why are we still in Afghanistan wasting money lol, money we can be saving and or saving here? Why not legalize medical marijuana, and create some more jobs and revenues as MANY states want to do nationwide, without fear and persecution from the federal govt? Obama can do an executive order on medical marijuana right now, but instead, sucks the ? dry off the pharmaceutical companies who want marijuana illegal for fear of cheaper competition. Obama might be doing an okay/barely passing job as president overall but GREAT? I don't know about that brah HAHAHA

He's doing the best job he can all things considered. Do you know how much red tape he has to bust through? Numbers don't lie.

    With that said, vote Obama!

As I just said though, Obama can issue a simple executive order that would order the Dept of Justice to stop enforcing those federal medical marijuana laws. And Obama is the commander in chief, he can very simply tell the generals he wants the fighting stopped and tell Congress he wants the war ended. Remember how Obama stepped over Congress and told the Dept of Justice to stop enforcing immigration law when it comes to young illegals who are educated or have military service? Republicans and some Democrats got mad, but Obama showed his power as president.

But because Obama supports endless wars that bankrupt an already bankrupt country, and because Obama isn't enlightened when it comes to improving the economy, he won't do these things. And that's why I'd rather not vote for a cowardly, big time disappointing man Obama. Obama is so much like Bush it's scary. All I see is weak arguments from Obama fans at this point, not enough to impress former Obama supporters anymore. Although I know Romney is worse, I'm done voting for the lesser of two evils. I want my interests represented, not ignored. Sounds harsh but if Obama wants to ignore my ideas, I'll ignore his name on the ballot box. Two can play that game.

it may be worth noting that saying "doing a great job" and "doing the best job he can, all things considered" are different things

nah stop that. what does government dependency and wealth distribution have to do with color?
well, for starters, it would help if you'd examine the quote/poster that i am quoting there

on the other hand, there's a reason why Republicans and some Democrats got mad: the concept of the president deciding to pick and choose WHICH laws he'd actually like to enforce.

fyi -- President Obama's real agenda for America (aka) transform America - GET READY folks it's coming to your neighborhood real soon. The things this administration is up to just blows me away - this isn't a nation of doers its all about what big government can do for you and yours - individuals don't matter anymore.

? ! name some Presidents who have referred to his fellow Americans as not being smart and they don't work hard. How many former Attorney Generals have called his fellow Americans cowards - how many recent Presidents have disrespected the constitution - this President has NO respect for America - hes to busy trying to transform it into HIS VISION of what it should be He wants to insult his fellow Americans and then claim folks took it out of context - BS if you can't say what you mean - then ? - yeah hes articulate alright, after HE gets his foot out of his mouth. IMO what kind of man refuses to honor the national anthem while everyone else does - guess who ? hes such a two-faced hypocrite...notice how he wears those American flag stick pins on his lapels now - yet when he was campaigning none of those were present - huh?

The news gets worse for American cities.....the crime ridden city of Camden is now....get this....going to get rid of its POLICE DEPARTMENT. Yes you have heard right.....

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/08/24/camden-nj-to-reboot-police-department-by-new-year/#ixzz24e3FPNvM?test=latestnews

Crime-ridden Camden, New Jersey - often referred to as the most dangerous city in the United States—is getting rid of its police department.

In the latest example of a cash-strapped municipality taking drastic measures to deal with swollen public sector liabilities and shrinking budgets, the city plans to disband its 460-member police department and replace it with a non-union “Metro Division” of the Camden County Police. Backers of the plan say it will save millions of dollars for taxpayers while ensuring public safety, but police unions say it is simply a way to get out of collective bargaining with the men and women in blue.

“This is definitely a form of union-busting," Camden Fraternal Order of Police President John Williamson told FoxNews.com. “This method is unproven and untested, to put your faith in an agency that doesn’t even [yet] exist.”

Camden County Mayor Dana Redd has said layoffs of the city’s police force will begin by the end of the month. Only 49 percent of current city police officers will be transferred to the new county division, whose members will begin a four- to five-month training program.

“There is a crisis, but this is not the solution. It’s a disaster waiting to happen.”

    - -Joseph Eisenhardt, president of the Camden County Police Chiefs Association

“The officers who are getting laid off are going to have to be the ones who train their replacements,” Williamson said.
