I knew it would be him but ? ........it just breaks your heart. Opie lost so much in his life and he was such a loyal and good guy. But everybody he lost life died violently over some SAMCRO drama.....thats why i figured he would go the same type of way. And he knew that...thats why he decided to be the one to go. As soon as he said to Jax "don't you ever get tired of this?", that confirmed for me that he was gonna go. Dude aint have nothing left in him, he was too heartbroken to raise his kids with the love they needed so he left them with the only person he knew, and that wasn't directly involved with the Sons (yeah it was a pornstar but he probably couldn't think of no one else), and all he had was that loyalty to his brother Jax so he went in and died protecting him.....? so sad man....SMFH.

That ? hurt to see Opie go out like that, smh. It's cool tho cuz Jax's character is about to take ? to another level. I like how he didn't even look at the C.O. while telling him "I'm going to ? you", that ? was cold. Pope is a ? ' BOSS. Also, was I the only one that thought Opie and Jax was going to ? Chibs? ? just seemed uneasy for a min.

Yo, Prospect from season 1&2 committed suicide.

Dude killed his landlord by beating her to death, then either fell or jumped to his death from a balcony.

Johnny Lewis -- who had big roles on "Sons of Anarchy," and "The O.C." and once dated Katy Perry -- was found dead yesterday ... and his body was discovered at the same L.A. property as an 81-year-old woman he's suspected of murdering ... TMZ has learned.

According to our law enforcement sources, 28-year-old Lewis was found in a driveway Wednesday morning in the Los Feliz neighborhood -- and the elderly woman who owned the home was found dead inside ... the victim of a homicide. Investigators say they believe Lewis beat the woman to death.

According to multiple reports, neighbors heard the 81-year-old woman screaming ... and then saw a young man outside her home attack 2 other people with a piece of wood ... before he climbed onto the roof and fell to his death.

Lewis was renting a room from the 81-year-old victim.

Law enforcement sources tell us Lewis is the sole suspect in the woman's murder, and they are not looking for other possible suspects.

Lewis dated Perry back in 2006 -- and attended numerous Hollywood events together.

so if clay dont get back on his bike soon he loses his vote... should be intresting to see how that plays out... and s/o to that ? juice for slaying that good looking milf.. she was thick...
and what's jax end game.. what can he do to clay when he finds out about the home invasions.. he still need him for the big guns

Yep if you can't ride you can't be a voting member. That's why Clay used to always take those shots. Though I don't recall them ever saying exactly what's wrong with him. I just assumed it was arthritis. I don't think Jax knows what the end game is right now. And the home invasions are probably lead to the storyline for next season.

I I knew Op was gonna die. The club killed his wife, his pops. So I seen it coming.

    Cool little read...

"FX’s Sons of Anarchy has killed its fair share of characters over the years, but no death has packed quite the punch as Opie’s grisly murder in this Tuesday’s episode. To recap, grimacing anew with every keystroke: Per the terms laid out by Damon Pope to solve the Sons’ prison problem, Jax would not only cede half of the club’s coke-muling earn, but also sacrifice one of his brothers. (Tig’s life however was not on the table, as Pope also insisted that his daughter’s killer rot behind bars, forever.) And while Jax adamantly refused to give up a Son, Opie made the tough call for him, forcing his way into an off-book prison melee that had only one possible outcome: his death, via several blows to the head with a steel pipe. During a Wednesday conference call, Sons creator Kurt Sutter told TVLine that he first mulled Opie’s fate during Season 3, and firmed it up at the end of Season 4, when the character’s dad, Piney, met his own maker, at Clay’s hand.

“I got to the end of that season and realized there is this circular dynamic happening with Jax and Opie that I felt was very difficult to get out of,” Sutter explained. Having informally set his sights on a seven-season run, “This is the first [season] I’ve had to think about the end game, and knowing where I wanted to get my hero and knowing how I wanted to get there, the road I wanted him to travel,” Sutter continued. “And Jax needed that emotional upheaval, that one event that happens in a mans life that can change the course of his destiny — the death of his best friend was [that].” Sutter acknowledges that the manner of Opie’s death and the suddenness was hard-hitting, but promises it was not served up lightly. “I knew this would be a gut-wrenching episode and difficult for people to wrap their brains around, but… the death of Opie will color the rest of the episodes for the rest of the series,” he stressed. “It’s not a death that will happen in vain. Of course there’ll be a sense of vengeance, something that drives out guys to retaliate, but also the emotional impact that his death will have on the rest of the characters will always be there.” Other topics Sutter addressed during the press call:

WHY OPIE GAVE UP HIS LIFE | “I do believe that some of it was a sense of, ‘Here’s an opportunity for me to go out doing the right thing, to be of best service to my club’ — and also to his family,” Sutter said, noting that Opie never really reconciled his life with his relationship to his ex and their kids. “Jax wasn’t going to force himself to make that choice [of who dies]. Opie saw that … and had to step in and make that choice.” GIVING RYAN HURST THE BAD NEWS | “It’s a difficult thing. He is very plugged into the show and loves the character, and Ryan is a super-sensitive dude, so it was difficult for both of us to figure out how to do this,” Sutter related. “In the end, when he read the script and saw the episodes that follow, he understood the nature of it and the importance of it in the mythology of the show.”

WHY SUTTER HIMSELF ‘SPOILED’ THE BIG DEATH | For a showrunner who is extremely averse to spoilers, Sutter’s use of Twitter and the like to talk up the looming death was, to say the least, surprising. “The reason I ended up teasing it … was really because of social media and the speed at which information travels,” he explained. “It was about giving people a heads up that if they weren’t watching the episode [live] to stay off social media until they did, so it wouldn’t get spoiled.”

Real talk!! Clay playing the ? out of everybody. I don't think he is as bad off as he letting on. First he was able to crush the girl at the spot. Then if you look at the preview for next week he looks to be sitting on a weight bench with chuck ziti spotting him. Not saying he ain't ? up, but I think he can probably ride if his hand aren't that bad.

So ? is clowning Opie death/life saying he was a walking "Epic fail?" The only "family" he ever knew/ever loved accidentally killed the only woman/thing he ever "truly" loved, not to mention the head of said "family" murking his dad as well??? Yeah, all that can leave one quite bitter with life and to still go out on some soldier/my own terms ? ? Ya'll ? clowning that? Ya'll ? respect the ? who got shot, I respect the shooter. Op was a victim of circumstance like so many brothas in real life.

I guess that half sack was a pain the ass since day one. People associated with the show say they aren't surprised he would do something like that.

I wonder if Potter ever comes back.

Wasn't surprised about Opie especially when he decked the cop. He put himself in that position.

What I found interesting the most is that Jax gives no ? about Tig. Ya'll heard it when he told Pope that when he's finished using him to help his influence in the club, Pope can do whatever he wants to him. In case, ya'll aren't figuring this out, Jax will became Clay, just like Tara will become Gemma.

Clay was ? as hell setting up the people in the ? service. It was smart of him to talk to Opie to get him to be at Jax's side. Clay doesn't have to worry about him anymore.

Jax now knows that the Niners don't have anything to do with the home invasions.

Tig has to ? die! I can't lie though, as racist as his joke was about seeing nothing but teeth, I have to admit it was somewhat funny. Makes me glad that I got to see his daughter getting her back blown out by a brother.

Nah son, I dont believe it. I think he just needed to buy Tig time until he could figure out how to handle Pope. You dont think hes really just gonna keep giving Pope HALF like hes Shaunie O'neal? Thats just not in Jax nature to just turn his back.He may be ? at Tig but he knows his actions played a part in Tig killing Popes daughter. You see how much it took for Jax to finally give up on Clay. Just my 2¢.

I think what you said was right....BEFORE HE WATCHED OPIE (rip) get his head caved in. Sutter has said that there was going to be one specific even that would change who Jax was as a person and this was it (Pope even alluded to it). Jax straight up doesnt give a ? about anything but getting revenge. Tig is a just a tool to be used at this point.

LMAO at this summary about Opie:

"What was so intriguing about Opie Winston? Is it, as our own Kelly West posits, his kind eyes and gentle nature? Is it the unexplainable pull of rooting for someone whom salvation never reaches as he fails to claw his way out of the dark, depressing hole that’s been dug for him? Is it less complex than that? All sympathies aside, Opie is a scapegoat for most of Sons of Anarchy’s human drama. Whereas watching (insert woman-centric reality show) might make you envious about the flippant ways rich people flaunt their wealth and possessions, it takes just over a minute of Opie before one thinks, “Holy ? . Thank ? I’m not that guy. His life is awful.

I feel the need to break Opie down to how he was written in order to ward off the fictional grief that befell me after his fatal conking. He’s a flip-flopper. He stays tightly knit within the same organization that continues to actively ruin his life. (No, not ? .) He finds self-destructive new “love” with a porn star, and like buying a car with 300,000 miles on it, you know it won’t last. His kids, supposedly his only other life force, remind him so much of his murdered wife Donna that he avoids being around them for large chunks of time. To remedy this, he tries for another child with Lyla, getting his heart re-broken when he finds the birth control pills she’s taking and that she aborted his child, as if having a baby with the porn star rebound after his murdered wife is a memory-erasing life-rejuvenator. He’s constantly fighting with fellow club members. His dad is dead. He can’t avenge his father’s death without getting it messed up by others. He truly is Charlie Brown in leather. (No fan fiction, please.)"

there is some hilariously, sad truth to this
