MBDTF vs Graduation.. which album is better?..

    But MBDTF was on a whole nother level. To me anyway. People talk about the "epicness" of the album, but what really captivates me about it was the level of personalness Kanye put into it. Hardly any of the songs feel like they were meant to be easily digested pop friendly singles that are here today, gone tommorrow; but instead are more or less sounding boards for powerful (no pun intended) and relevant themes.

    Only two songs on there that don't really fit into that theme are "So Appalled" and "Monster" and guess what? Those were the most HIP HOP songs Kanye West had put out in awhile, especially coming off of Graduation and 808s.

    So Afrikka Bambatta, never existed....

    Stronger was corny as fucc.I don't like commercial music(outside biggies singles and in da club and a handful of other songs) and flashing lights was just wacc.I can't explain it those songs were trash to me along wit good life

    Graduation. Kanye's last album gets a lot if praise here but I didn't think it was that good. Definitely not a classic in my opinion.

    graduation is a good album but barry bonds and drunken hot girls didnt make that album as great as it could've been MBDTF was on time after that 808 and heartbreaks ?

    I hated Graduation and the reason why is because I felt like if all of those songs were on different albums I'll accept them but what was presented as graduation as a whole wasn't for me...

    Graduation ain't ? classic. It was nice, solid work, but it paled compared to his previous albums. It wasn't musically as challenging as MBDTF and there was much of filler.
